USS Massachusetts, Pensacola Florida

In this video greg dives the USS Massachusetts at neap tide! This historic ship wreck is located just outside Pensacola pass and sits at 25-27 foot! The best time to dive this wreck is during Neap tide. What is neap tide? It’s when the pull of the moon and the sun are weak causing a weak current. During normal tidal changes this wreck would be difficult to dive due to the swift current! As for the history of this wreck it’s best to look it up via google! It has a long history! Sealife on and around this wreck include Goliath grouper, Gag grouper, eels, spade fish and many other different types of fish! Hope y’all enjoy!

@@Lostworldexcavations yeah apparently when the biggest guns on the ship were aimed, the entire ship would tip over because they were so heavy, which is one reason why it would sink
