Love that colour. Unusual that they would go for a 10 inch radius when it is so close to 9.5 which is a Fender standard.
Yeah, 10, weird. Isn't that a PRS radius?
I always thought that too, but they changed it for the Hybrid ii's back to the standard 9.5
Lovely playing and tones and really cool video intertwining the model history and your/the channel history with it! That colour is sublime too one of my fav fender finishes that!
I threw a four way switch in a partscaster I made, with Texas Specials inside, Allparts rosewood aged neck 7.25 radius and is one of my best teles! A sort of Robben Ford tribute… (Next to a Japan ‘62 RI tele with added Pure Vintage ‘64 inside)
This is one of the best reviews I have ever seen. And that's not just because I own a Hybrid 50s Indigo Telecaster, which I absolutely adore.
Just watched a bit more... I had a guy come over with the -to me- overhyped Dark Night-colored AmProII Telecaster, and upon playing it, I felt absolutely no connection to that guitar.
My other pride and joy Fender is a 75th Commemorative Stratocaster, which is also somehow - I feel - significantly superior to your run-of-the-mill ProIIs.
I was just looking at these today. I’m on the hunt for my first tele.
You can't go wrong with one of these, I love em.
I love my Hybrid II tele. Beautiful guitar. Feels great. Forest blue is probably my favorite color I've seen on a guitar.
I have the Hybrid II Tele in arctic white and its so amazing, really really loud acoustically and feels perfect in my hands. Recently a few hybrid iis in sherwood green, charcoal frost metallic and noir just arrived in my loval store and they look fan-freaking-tastic.
Yeah I’ve seen those FSRs!!! Matching headstocks on those right? LOVE it on the Jazzmasters
That tele is killer! Fender Japan once again proving they're one of the best in the business, awesome finish too
I LOVE the finish, it color shifts depending on the lighting big time
I'm lucky to own a Hybrid I Tele and Strat, in Natural and Burgundy Mist Metallic, respectively. Phenomenal guitars.
You are indeed, I LOVE the burgundy mist one you have!
Sheesh I know this is about the guitar but that dang amp sounds so awesome!
Thanks man I am so happy it's back and working!
That ocean turqoise looks like a different version of that color. Could be the color grading of the video but it looks more blue. Reminds me of the Faded Pelham Blue. Either way, looks cool. Interesting specs on that though.
It's definitely a differentish shade which is actually common for Fender Japan compared to Fender USA. They've always had this softer almost faded look to their Ocean Turquoise compared to what we get here, I'm a huge fan as it varies greatly in person depending on the lighting.
@@AudiomoMusic For sure. Looks cool though. Agreed.
Hybrid guitars are the best. I have one and it is awesome!!
They really are killer guitars, I really wish I kept that flamingo pink one
@@AudiomoMusic I have had three guitars stolen, and I miss those. I couldn't even think of selling one, and I have three guitars now that they are going to have to pry from my cold dead hands, lol
I enjoy playing my Hybrid II Tele, the build quality is great and the four-way blade is a nice addition, but I wish that there was an option for medium jumbo frets in the current Hybrid series
I agree, I'm not a fan of the narrow tall. The neck itself on the hybrid ii is very nice but I definitely want either full vintage sized or medium jumbos haha
@AudiomoMusic I get a fair bit of buzz when doing slides when using distortion, which I blame for narrow tall frets but maybe I just need to get better at the guitar, lol
Man, the USA really misses out on some nice Fender models.
(And I must admit, my eyes keep drawing toward the sweet thinline/custom with spanky new gold guard!)
It is absolutely a distraction haha
Absolutely fantastic have a wonderful day Jim ❤❤❤❤❤❤😊😊😊😊😊😊
Thanks, you too!
I love the hybrid series. I always find myself looking forward to what they release. Hint hint Fender USA 😉
What, you don't want another 54 reissue strat or 52 tele? hahah
@@AudiomoMusic Stop it! 😂
The Tele and the Music Man amp make a great team.
Music Man anps are incredible
All the fenders love that amp!
don’t have a hybrid 1, but a strat and a jazzmaster from the hybrid 2 series, love em both compared to Am Pro 2’s I had and also at half the price lol
Absolutely, the jazzmasters especially are reeeaaally good from the hybrid ii line. They are the perfect modern versions of the guitar.
@@AudiomoMusic i discovered the jazzmaster through your video of it! super happy to come across your channel, i’m happier and so is my wallet haha. the only mod i’m thinking of doing is putting a hotter bridge pickup and swap pots to 1 meg, but otherwise it has “mojo”
That's a sweet Tele.
I diiiiiiig it!
Nothing like this is currently available on Sweetwater.
The only thing Sweetwater sells from the hybrid line of guitars are the replacement necks for teles and strats from the hybrid ii line. These guitars were made for Japans market, not ours.
