I sold my BMCC to fund a P4k-stupid, stupid, stupid! Now I am scared to buy a new one because the batteries all seem to be dead and having to rig up an external battery is a deal breaker for me. The P6k Pro has its place, but nothing affordable comes close to the filmic look of the OG 2.5k. Great shooting in this video.
Yes you need to rig it out with V-Mount battery etc.. The internal battery is long gone. I have seen some videos of people buying replacement internal batteries and doing an operation, if you're feeling brave. It is possible. I'm fine with a rig. thanks for watching 🤘
@@SugarClown_Oficial En primer lugar, esa lente tiene montura Nikon y necesitará un adaptador para adaptarse a BMCC MFT. Respecto al documental, ¡cualquier lente está bien! Todo es cuestión de cómo lo uses 🤘
A brilliantly made film with fabulous-looking footage.
Man this camera STILL looks great!!!
Certainly does! Thanks for watching 🙏
Love seeing your film work and continually showcasing how great the BMCC 2.5K is!
Thanks man. I'm a believer in the BMCC! 🙌
Awesome work! Really inspires me to dust off the ol 2.5K. It's a great camera, but your skills really made this commercial 💪
Thank you, Sir. I agree the old BMCC still has something unique. Thanks for watching 🙌
@@GRTHK For sure! Forgot to ask: What lens were you using?
@@jean-david-ouellette Leica R Summicron, Cinemod to EF mount 🤘
@@GRTHK Oh ok wow nice!
You keep making great work with BMCC 2.5K😊
Thanks for watching! 🙌

se ve excelente la imagen , quisiera un lut asi se ve genial
Looks beautiful man!
Thank you, sir 🙏
Any tips for for shooting exterior locations with this camera... Your footage looks amazing
Thanks. Use a decent external monitor to avoid clipping the highlights (good rule in general) 👍
Looks great!
Thanks dude 🤘
Nice. Was ariel also shot on bmcc?
No, DJI Mini 3 Pro. BMCC setup is at least 5kg!
Speedbooster was it original BMC or new one great work
Metabones 0.64x 👍
Awesome man, just wonder, how many GB if we shot for 10 minutes footage with cinema DNG 2,5K ?
What's your external battery solution and which SSD to record?
V-mount connected to the power input (12v?) and SandDisk Extreme Pro SSD
nice! how do you grade the highlights?
I shoot RAW and literally take the highlights to -100 in the RAW editing tab in Davinci Resolve, and tick Highlight Recovery
Do you have Rawlite OLPF installed?
No. I just suffer in the edit... 😭
would love to see your editing process, from transferring files from the camera to setting up the timeline @@GRTHK
@@FountainBeats I just use a 4k timeline. There's a quick grading tutorial about some of these shots:

@@GRTHK amigo tengo la bmcc 2.5k MFT, que tal sería un lente tamron 10-24mm Nikon en esta cámara? Me serviría para grabar documentales ?

really nice footage, but the color grading screams "mobile videography"
