Random question… I can’t get anyone on the phone at Florida Dept. Of Ed…… if my temp certification expires can I just go for the professional certification when I’m ready and pass the FtCE courses? Or I can’t cuz my temporary expired?? Please help 😢

The best people to help you with this are those who work at the department of education. If your certificate expired, you will have to jump through a few hoops to get it reinstated. However, I do not coach people through this process because policies are forever changing and I do not want to point you in the wrong direction. I understand trying to communicate with the FLDOE is frustrating. I would keep trying. Some people have better luck messaging them through Facebook messenger. Good luck!
