Here in germany the 64gb and 8tb option costs just over 7100€ including tax. Theres even a 96GB ram option which puts the total config to 7500€ including tax.
Putting the specs down to the top of the line galaxy book3 ultra with 32gb ram a 13900h and a 4070 for 2950€ makes the pro 16 cost 4150€ all including tax. So for the 2 most comparable versions the galaxy book is 1200€ cheaper.
You forgot to clarify that the MacBook’s memory is soldered to the board. And Samsung has 2 M2 slots for memory upgrades. You can install 2 8TB SSDs there, for a total configuration of 16TB. And you can do this some time after the purchase, without overpaying right away
And the CPU in Samsung is not a glorified Phone chip but a actual i7 and has RTX GPU

I like how so many apple fans here trying to argue that the same macbook is still in play, thinking more of the name instead of the specs lol.
Samsung's one might have a slight "Disadvantage" with storage and ram(32gb is already overkill for multitasking.) and its cpu is slightly "slower" than the M2, but the macbook has a really huge disadvantage. It does not have a Dedicated GPU which is crucial for 3d Rendering and things like unity, blender, and autocad. The MacBook would have a hard time doing the same because of all the limits apple has given this laptop, from its OS to its specs.
in conclusion, The Samsung Laptop wins this one cause of its better capabilities and its ability to use its Dedicated GPU thats an RTX 4000 series for even more things, from 3d rendering to even gaming with the latest AAA games if you wanna game at the side. So basically almost the same speed and power as the macbook, but with a Dedicated GPU, It also comes with a very good Intergrated graphics. So it outweighs the M2 and its processor and iGPU.

Book 3 Ultra is a lot better for 3D works and Renders . MacBook falls behind when it comes to the GPU thing :)

They are both good but honestly arm chips are imporving very fast and x64 chips arnt as good in saving power as the arm chips but there are still some things that are better in x64 chips than in arm.
