Big Thank u BBc for sharing this with us this year 2012 it was my n my Hubbys first christmas together n we watched it back then n watched it snuggled up together again this year xxx
lts interesting to think that just three years later (1987),that was their last ever show. The Christmas shows were always great. So many great sketches like Chas and Dave,Xmas song, etc. They have left us with so many fond memories.
Remember when all the major 'shows' had a Christmas Extravaganza/Show?' In 2021 it's minor humour and boring repeats, with absolutely no originality or skill...No thanks....😕😕😕😕
i cant find a two ronnies, im not sure whats called, it involves corbett as customer with wife? in restaurant where barker looking like a cossack and cant understand the language, he thinks corbett is asking for 2 smallest rooms, 2 gents an oosh blockay, and the bill, does this ring any bells with anyone.

Look up the Pink rupee rap LOVE IT!!
I remembered this for the cheeky elves, but the last verse is beautiful, about respect and tradition and the meaning of Christmas
How we miss them especially at Christmas.
one of their best songs
"I cooked the Goose!"
"I goosed the Cook!"
Makes me laugh everytime.
R.I.P You 2 Legends
""Have a bash on your neighbours knockers... LOL !
OMG when you realise this was played at Christmas over 40 years ago (IIRC it first aired in 1982)!
Excellent
@napsuta Only geniuses could come up with rhymes for 'bananas' and 'fruitcake'!
Is that Kenny Baker as the little Santa?
This is from their 1982 Christmas show, not 84!

@MrBigj1970 There's a lot of their stuff that isn't as well remembered as it deserves to be.
yeh thts true cool2B.
its funny, the resolution on the early shows are clear as, but this from '84 is fuzzy. most 80's progs are like this. wonder why?
lol just watched it with the captions on, unbelievably far out lol

I remember it:
Corbet: "that's disgusting"
Barker: dis Gusting? That's a lot of Gusting
haha, I've no idea how they get added, but they are complete nonsense :)
