Well that was a rude comment Parker!! What do you mean no one wants to hear a demo from a single 12”? Bass heads support all systems. A single 12 can be used and still sound awesome. Especially if it’s someone’s first build, never be discouraging towards viewers, especially those coming into the bass head lane!

These decks are really interesting. I love that it offers twice the RCA's of traditional decks. I never understood that from old decks. I think what would be cool too in the future is a detachable big screen 10"-18" option. 👍😎
What makes this a bass head head unit to you? To me a bass head head unit would be capable of multiple sub outputs . A 10 or 12 volt low impedance output section to over drive amps. A dac capable of playing flat output with no rolloff all the way down to 5 hz and a eq with multible band adjusts from 250 to 5 hz. That would allow you to really eq the bass curve in fine infringements.
From what I gather the 1st 3rca outputs are full passband and the 4th is sub dedicated. But with channel splitters and line drivers you don't really need more than 1 sub dedicated channel.
@@namegoesherenone6449 of course with splitters and line drivers anything is possible and all head units are bass head head units. . in my opinion a true bass head unit will have features that makes it easier to run your system with out splinters and line drivers. Features that bass heads use but right now pay extra for extra equipment to get.
@@paulgood2218 I found my old receipt for my deh80prs. 350 new. I wanted the 99 but that was over $1k new. Sound quality is fantastic. Wonder what the cost to implement the features we bassheads really care about would cost, and the size of the h/u to do so.

My cats leave the house any time I crank up the home system, animals have very different hearing then humans and are sensitive to low frequency as well. Yes I do have everything for my car system but nothing is going in till I figure out the programing of the alarm system.

Parker, the first system that you briefly showed was EXO's van, did you get a demo? I was also looking for Jerry Aintloud teal colored Jeep (drivers door is red) he's got a very loud system that goes really low, something like 18 Hz.

I just bought a Kenwood Excelon and I love it! Built in crossover but it has 6 rca not eight but it is 5v pre amp. And it's 22rms. If I didn't have this one though I'd definitely try this DB HU!

From what I see on alphard's website the 500dsp is around 8000rubles($87usd ish). I'm sure this will be at least $400 when it hits the states minimum. And they are new to the head unit experience, so don't expect the 1st run to be everything you want. I'm definitely looking to update my aging 80prs to be able to run a 4way system instead of my current 3way active 😊

Lookin good! 🎉 that test bench should allow you to really do some legit a-b comparisons! 🎉 imo, I think it look better if you centered the tester in that spot and put the main control on a secure stand to have it line up with the top. 🎉 it might be easier for filming everything in one including anything on top of the bench. (Might get some resonances being all the way to left. 🎉
Definitely not the first. Being an extreme audio head I personally go into depth with everything and I have not seen much in depth anything from this channel I was under the impression that the bigger you got the more in depth you'd get with information for real audio people not just plug and play people. Audio quality and being top notch with installing with proper equipment. This channel has turned into a solid click bait .
Exo is the channel y'all want if you want to learn proper shit. Even ds18 has had a head unit out for ages. This shit ain't new. again.
You review 15 year old stuff and caps lock your titles for clicks not to mention this radio is going to have absolutely zero car features and only radio features and probably poor ones at that. Cars all use android and apple Auto and play so this radio isn't going to be good and if it has that I promise it won't have any vehicle settings like climate control or any vehicle functions settings like most cars have run into the radio now. Either way this video needs to be titled *new so and so brand radio* not what it has for a title. The hifonics sub woofers were 15 years old when you laid that video about them being brand new down.

Separate the test rack modules and spread them out a little. Don't use four boxes to test two speakers. Put the boxes on the table away from the floor. IMHO

Do you guys really not wear earplugs? I feel like I don’t see anyone doing demos wearing them. I wear them 24/7 in my SPL car at only 110db. Only lol.
I’ve got wicked tinnitus and hearing damage from riding in my car and going to shows for years without earplugs. I hope that all of you wear earplugs in the future. Tinnitus sucks, I’ll cut my ear off one day and it still won’t go away

You don't even really talk about the head unit features besides the preamp outputs. What about the features and usefulness of the dsp? I still don't understand why there aren't any head units with a full feature dsp. I would gladly give up the speaker level outputs and amp for a dsp

Probably means the same thing since no pre-out runs at just 2v 4v etc. It's an amplifier

I couldn't help myself from getting a little angry when I saw that poor dog.
Well guess I won't bother going to shows. I only got two tens on 2k. I also swap out to a x8v3 in a Gately sometimes.
But "nobody wants to hear just a single 12" so I could extrapolate that tens or an eight is cute or something. Wont even bother. Another place I'll be excluded.
A 120amp power supply and a agm deep cycle and super cap. On the test seþ up would be awesome so you can run at least a 1000w worth of amplifier .💯✌️👌👍🫡😉
With a 120 amp power supply u can run 1000 watts with out the agm just the power supply by itself
@johnoates3326 ya but it's not ideal to run it like that there no head way your pulling all it's got. Plus that just the mono amp or course there going to be a least a 4 channel to . The power supply will be taking a beating after a hour of use it's probably really hot with out any power on hand in reserve. 💯😉🫡✌️🤔
@@josephsaucedo8691 I'm running 5 amps total on 2 120 amp power supplies 2 diamond audio des1000.1 and 2 JBL club A 1000.1 and a audio control 300x4..I run it about 4-5 hours straight everyday..Been doing that close to 5 years now and never had a problem no batteries no capacitors..Taramps 120 amp power supply and a stetsom 120 amp power supply
@johnoates3326 if you are that mean you also had a room wired to a main panel to two different brokers to the same room as well because I'm running the same set up almost but with a battery supply as well . And the amount of amps it pulls it's impossible to run the way housing power outlet are wired to the main. I do electrical and also had to run a out let on a different line going to my main so the power supply have there own line each. This also means there isn't any thing else besides power supply running on your out let because if anything else gets plug in while using your main panel going to kick the brakes constantly because usully there 4 or more outlet wired on one line to the panel in house electrical. They don't expect someone going to max out on a single house out let wich the power supply dose by it self it takes 2 20 amp lines of house brakes 40 total that the rest of the entire house only has 60 amp. You frig and dryer running with system you only have 20amp left for the hole house to run off. I live on my own in my own house I no there isn't going to be anyone playing in and understand the houses electrical limits. If your not careful the house electrical can caught fire. I'd say your extremely lucky the house electrical and panel haven't caught fire if you are using 2 power supply in the same room and outlets and both amp at full tilt. It get risky running that amount of power if not done currect it took me quite a while to do my home theater room and to be able to use it currectly along with the rest of the house the house electrical had to change a little 💯🫡😉🤔👍✌️

@@-21-mods57 he just said for bass heads. Plenty of people want bass without needing a 5 channel amp or anything. There are radios that output 45x4 rms and that’s a good boost to keep up with subs if you add them

This is a bad review. What cross over settings do you got hi. Low band pass. Slope adjustments? The display looks almost unusable with bad viewing angle unless your right in front of it you ain't see it ? Maybe it was just the video. And why is it a head unit for bass heads? What does the extra set of RCA for. Are they front rear or selectable ? If you use it for center chanel can you sum right and left together or upmix the signal to give correct sound stage for a center channel. This head u ot is just weird

Seems silly, who's looking for a single din headunit now in days, everyone is pretty much line converting to a DSP or Bluetoothing to a DSP via a android or ipad device. Would've been cool 20 plus years ago seems irrelevant now.
