- After attending the Manchester Model Railway exhibition, one of the layouts that stood out was Cheadle Ridge Lane TMD, the modern image DRS depot.
Cheadle Ridge Lane TMD is Steve's exhibition layout using 'OO' gauge code 100 track and a fully DCC operated layout. The exhibition layout is 6ft long 1.5ft wide. Attended as a modern image DRS depot.

Hornby Magazine would love you to showcase my layout when it's complete
@@ewoodrailway Feel free to get in touch when you think it's ready. :D
Hornby Magazine certainly will. If you check it out if you think it's up to scratch
@@ewoodrailway The decision isn't mine I'm afraid, if you email in a selection of photos the powers that be will consider it. 👍🏻
Look amazing
Is that a crunching ballast sound effect along with the wheel/brake squeal? Is it part of the loco sound? Which sound unit?
Amazing!
Ashley builds great layouts I have 2 built by him.
Nice layout.
Can I please ask if the inside detailing pieces are scratch built or bought? If so which producer
Darrenbury Central Hi great layout.
Excuse me hornby, how much did the majestic train set retail for because I got mine for $350 aud or £186.69
Hi, It retailed for £299.99 here in the UK I believe. 👍🏻

To me model railways are for steam loco's - the detail is far more interesting and complex than Diesel, steam looks great running down a track.
Diesels look far better shunting on shed, Especially if there is 3 or 4 deltics on shed ticking over.
The BP tea’s dont look right the middle is a release opening lol
Today is my birthday.
Happy birthday!!!
