i must admit i do agree but unfortunately they must feel forced to only takes a youngster a split 2nd to grab something on the layout and ruin someones hard work so i do understand why some layouts have them but your right it does spoil the look if you want to look at them eye level, thanks for watching. Tom
@@northwesttrainsmodels I was once at a local train show and one exhibitor had a large layout set at adult height and the whole area in a giant perspex box. You couldn't see anything but reflections. The poor guy exhibiting the layout couldn't work out why very few people were showing any interest in his fine work. If you can't see the trains people are just going to ignore the layout.
All 6 of them are amazing layouts.
it was a very hard choice which ones to fit in the vid as i try not to go over 15 min, i like arnold lane for what you can fit in a very small space
Yes Arnold lanes very similar to another layout Ive seen, can't remember it's name unfortunately
Excellent video of some great layouts. I was at Warrington last year and filmed some lovely layouts.
warrington does usually have some decent layouts hopefully it wont be cancelled this year if it isnt already
Really great layouts here!
they certainly are, thanks for watching. Tom
10:05 I had no idea people still use brake vans? What are they for if all cars have their own brakes?
there not used anymore apart from demonstration trains on heritage lines
TBH, Part of me wants to watch these just for the conversations that take place in th background. Some of them are fascinating XD
haha i should be more profesional and put background music on but i do like to include the sounds of the layouts and trains moving
Nice new video .Like it.
thanks Dave glad you like the vid. Tom
Looks amazing, but I'm not a fan of the perspex put in front of a display. Too much reflection that destroys the view of the models.
