I remember after a 4 month hiatus from smite I decided to log in again and scratch my duel itch. When I got in I figured I'd try anhur since I was only in gold and could afford an L, but low and behold I'm queued against this monster ymir with 20 stars and end up losing at like 13min after getting clapped endlessly. Will never forget telling my friends in the discord call "Holy shit I'm playing against Ranian guys ... holy shit Ranian is messing me up guys"
We can all agree he's a bit... Special. You can't expect from your opponent in a MULTIPLAYER PVP GAME to let you farm peacefully and to not focus on you, especially when it's a 1v1 game... Jokking, he's a genius. He understand this game better than every Smite players even Proplayers :D
Question. Is it still worth to have gem of iso in your build if the enemy picks up a winged blade, or should you sell it for another item that may be more useful at that point?
I don't know wether or not I should get back into Smite. I'm on a break from the game and it started about a month before Arthur came into the game. I've always liked the game but it's the salty people that made me take a break. Is the community still generally toxic and salty? Because it certainly was when I left. Or at least that's what it felt like.
@@Ranian I was never much into Duel. But it definitely sounds good that the community has improved to some extent. Maybe I should download Smite again when I'm done with The Witcher 3. Though that may take a month or two. But thanks.
I love when people start saying that you can't beat them because of the god they chose. It shows they only go with the meta and rely on their pick over any skill whatsoever.
That is one of the worst Merlin players I have ever seen, and given some of the ones I've seen, that is _really_ saying something. The salt is so thick you could drown in it.
I feel like one day ill fight an actually good Merlin and this will be null and void. Like i farm freya pretty easily in the early game, till i met Paul on freya and he had me down 0-2 in 3min. Theres always options, it comes down to skill level.

Ice has best cooldown and solid damage. Fire cooldown to long and arcane is situational
