That’s a really crucial comment. This absolutely is achievable for the average guy with a little discipline. No fast food, packed lunches only, buses or cycle instead of trains and cars, and pre drinking are key! I’m also a fan of the metalor bars been close to buying one on a number of occasions! I have a couple handfuls of 10 and 5 bars, a bunch of tubes of sunshines, and some tubes of Osterreichs and RCM, and then a couple handfuls of Canadian junk silver in reasonable numismatic condition, a couple collectible RCM silver coins, and one gold piece.
Great video. Really enjoyed it. Where do you refer to buy your silver? I’ve used a few sites, Royal Mint as one example. Obviously in the UK we are charged VAT and premiums are high at the moment, despite the spot price being around £19.68 today. I’ve looked at the Royal Mint today and average 1oz bullion coin selling for around £31 (this includes VAT and a premium around 11%). Quite high in my opinion. Any thoughts would be welcome and thanks for the video again.
silvers good as its cheaper (obviously), can get couple of oz of silver for same price as a gram of gold, silver is also more volatile and speculative; some think it is very undervalued and will have high industrial use in the future. people see gold as safer than silver. I completley agree with the VAT but remember the VAT you pay on it will be the same you charge when it comes to selling.

You have a nice silver stack :D I'd love to get those 10oz Queen Beasts they look amazing! Definitely coins I would love to add to my own collection. Bit of a tip for you though (or anyone hoarding precious metals) build a better ratio of Gold and Silver. 400 ounces silver to 1.5oz Gold isn't the best ratio in my opinion. You're going to make more money shedding a hundred/two hundred ounces off your silver stack to put into a few ounces of gold. The hardest part of that of course is what do you sell because to be fair all of your coins/bars look really good :D

Hi Would really appreciate your help. Very new to stacking I have picked up a 2.5g PAMP gold bar for £260. Purchased from an official PAMP wholesaler. I have used veriscan and the bar is OK. Do you think the price i have paid is OK. Considering current gold spot price and piece of mind knowing that the bar is not fake etc.

Im always in the background mate! I havent bought anything substantial in a little while since I hit my initial weight goals, but I'd still recommend the silver forum for purchases. People are always selling on there and its much more reasonable than any dealer!

Ive never had a fake from that site, because its a proper community of metal lovers. If Im worried at all, I just do the magnet test with the specific gravity test too. You sould definitely have scales and calipers, they are cheap. If the coin weighs what it should, and measures as it should, its 99% likely to be real. I wouldnt buy an expensive spectrometer type machine for just a decent stack, those things are for the big timers!
You aren’t wrong I do want more gold but I have certain sets and targets that I need to reach no matter what! Tube of libertad a filled, QBs finished and marvel coins finished then maybe a tube of dragon bars and I’m done for a while. I want at least 5 more 1/4 oz gold coins and then I’ll splash out on a full oz. cheers!
I'd say its important to have enought o get you through a few dry months. That number will change for each person. For me, my long term goal has always been 500 oz total weight. But even 50 oz would get you through a rough period for a time

Haha they love them some constitutional silver over there. But to be fair it’s plays a different role. We have no equal in the UK because our monetary system changed as we eliminated Silver from our currency. The dollar has not changed since its inception, but our pounds used to be made of pennies, shillings, crowns etc. Nobody in the UK could look at our old silver coinage and have any hope of seeing it’s actually spending power, whereas most of the American public could easily identify a Silver quarter as a quarter. Just my two cents :-)

In my accumulation days (Ive shifted focus for now, but only for now) I was buying about 10 oz per month. I was spending about £150-£200 on that. But at the end of the day you should spend what you can afford. Its not about an absolute number, it should be based on your income. I'd say anywhere between 5-10% of your income is healthy. But only if you pay down debt and bills and sustenance first!

I generally work in oz, I've never really bought by the gram and generally speaking the smaller the unit the more expensive it becomes. For standard bullion if you can get it in hand for anything under £25 per oz your are doing well. Theres about 31 grams per oz so its well under £1 per gram.
Sorry you payed high premiums for all those government coins, I only buy generic silver rounds and bars period. End of day, silver is silver and that's what dealers will pay you for .

I’d say that seems a bit steep. I’d expect to pay around £150 for that. Bullion by post seem to be selling these for about that price delivered

Low and slow is how I stacked for 45 years. Stack size doesn’t matter it’s all about you and how you feel.
