Oh no! Honestly slumps are the worst as a reader because you really want to read but you just cannot get into anything! Hope your back in the groove of things now 💕💕
Gideon the Ninth is on my TBR as well. I ordered it for my library so I could read it before buying it. One of the bonuses to being the Library Director. >.
I love that! I had actually checked it out on Libby like 5 times and it lapsed because I was intimidated 😂 but I’m so glad I finally read it! I hope you enjoy it! 💕
Thank you lovely! And yes it’s just a great romantasy read, definitely heavier on the romance but I actually enjoy the background plot alot in these ones 💕
I'm so excited to read "Songbird," but I can't until I actually get around to reading "Ashes and the Starcursed King"...which I've been putting off because I want to collect the books in hardback, but since I live in Japan we don't get those often, and the shipping takes forever T_T I had a few good reads in November, but the one I loved most (and took me by surprise) was "Don't Let the Forest In" by CG Drews. I didn't know I needed a Gothic fairytale about "two idiots who share one brain cell" (the author's words, not mine XD) fighting monsters in a forest instead of telling each other how they felt until I read it. But I also loved "Welcome to the Hyunam-dong Bookshop." The author did such a good job creating a cozy reading experience while still addressing the drama and troubles the characters were dealing with.
Yes you definitely need to read TAATSK before reading Songbird! I actually never read the novella Six Scorched Roses 🙈 I actually need to go back and read that. Ok I have just downloaded Don’t let the forest in on your recommendation! I’ve seen it everywhere and the cover is stunning, so you have me really intrigued! 💕💕
❤📚📚❤️
Great, it was a good reading month!
My November was my first slump month.

great wrap up! i finished 10 books this month and my favorite was definitely Not In Love by Ali Hazelwood!
Thank you lovely! I’ve had that in my TBR basically since it came out 😂 I really need to pick it up! 💕
Great wrap up! You peeked my interest for Ever King, but I’ll try to read the first series by that author.

@@Booksandmoe I hope you enjoy DLTFI! It's definitely fitting a particular combination of things I didn't know I needed, but I couldn't put it down.
I’ve seen so many people saying the exact same thing 😂 but everyone I’ve seen who has read it, loved it! 💕
