The Trabant sounds like our DKWs did. But the DKWs ran better. ;-) The one in the video is about the same size as a DKW Junior and they do owe their design to pre-WW II DKWs.
3=6, 2=0 ;-) We actually drove with one cylinder shutdown at one point as the points failed for that cylinder. But having 3 coils and 3 sets of points allowed you to at least limp to a garage. Which on Cyprus was the local MB dealer. A new clutch installed cost $25 when mom burned it out learning how to drive the stick shift 1000. She still has her original Cyprus and Turkey issued licenses. I have a late model Junior's engine/transmission in the garage. It was more modern as it had oil injection instead of needing it mixed with the gas like our 1000 did.
The sheer lack of enthusiasm of these people enjoying themselves is fascinating, making this video as good as any on the Discovery channel. Maybe it's not real?! Maybe it's all staged?!
Oh, and BTW, where would you think this electricity would be generated? In a power station, indeed. Either coal fired or nuclear. The environment will be grateful for lobbyists like you...
Oh my! A TRABANT on the rails! You can't miss that Trabant 2-cycle engine sound...I'd LOVE to see this!

Hey its a trainbant! :D
A truly Trabantical moment ?
What era is this equipment from? 1933-1945?

Of course the DKW ran better. Even the DKW Junior had a 3-cylinder engine, whereas the Trabant had only 2 cylinders.

MrVladimirSP Well done. I don't even have those letters on my keyboard!
It is easy for me because I have Russian keyboard :). But I find nothihg about FRONKH. It is name of somebody?
It means 'Fawn'. It must be a Tajikistani brand earthmover JCB.

Do these people enjoy themselves?
yes

They are Germans. So no
we don´t laugh much in Germany. But we enjoy things.
I saw some smiles and heard some laughter.

just dont watch it and go back to you game.
Is this Russian?
No Germany I think so
It would be much nicer if it was electric.
Definitely. With overhead wire spoiling the landscape. Great idea!
Oh, and BTW, where would you think this electricity would be generated?
In a power station, indeed.
Either coal fired or nuclear.
The environment will be grateful for lobbyists like you...
These trains are so small that a 220V overhead wire would suffice to power them.
This is actual MineCraft !
