Hi bro! Mine was an 87 turbo, black with red terracotta interior... it also had no power steering, no antilock brakes but man, what a car! I always felt it had a great midrange with a surge that would come in above 3500 and press you back in the seat to redline...The way I drove it was to ride that surge, like a wave...it used to pass cars so effortlessly and was killer good at handling and excellent ,though heavy steering feel...I later added a variable boost control under the hood, removed the Cats, added an HKS exhaust and it was a beast...A warning with these...when I turned up the boost, it Really came alive, almost scary fast.. the clutch went up in smoke easily cuz it couldnt handle the power..ended up replacing it..The other risk was that after boosting it to a certain point, I got the dredded apex seal failure.. no compression at all on cranking.. had to replace the motor... bought a factory new block, broke it in carefully, kept the boost modest and it was awesome till the throttle linkage stuck wide open on mine sending me fishtailing into a curb and rolling over twice... car was totalled ..sold for scrap.. that was a tough swallow becuz the motor was brand new but the roof was crushed in... keep an eye on that throttle linkage..mine was always parked Outside.. some squirrel stored nuts Under the linkage that prevented it from being able to return...Unbelieveable!

I had a Black 87 TII with a rebuilt motor, RB exhaust, similar mods to yours - I miss it so much

I am selling mine now. Got the clutch done, factory bbs wheels put on, and a bunch of other stuff. Time to look for something else. But it has been a really fun car.

Take that sunroof assembly off. Clean the rails with some brake cleaner, dry and spray the rails with white lithium grease and you are A1. Done it on two of my sunroof and opening is quicker and smoother.

Nice car, I was actually looking to buy this car before it was posted up on ebay. If you wanted to chat about the car, send me a pm.

@@FlyingAAuto I didn't know him personally. The previous owner had posted your car for sale on Craigslist before Ebay. I met him when I checked out the car at his home.
