My wife was a D1 gymnast. She still does college judging as a hobby (and knowing how the scoring system has made me much more interested in the sport). Like a Bulldog that ate string, I shit you knot...as a life time snowboarder and kayaker, 3 sport athlete in high school, D1 athlete, etc... Gymnastics is absolutely insane when it comes to body control and awareness. I tried to do a balance beam routine my wife used to do in college after several months training and I lost a good 2.3 points off the difficulty arrangement.

A roundoff (even though a basic skill in gymnastics) is actually really hard because you're rotation around all three body axes at the same time (compared to only one axis for a front- or backflip). So it's understandable that it was so difficult.
Oh and the iron cross is actually only a B element (hold 2 seconds) unless you do it in a V-Sit position, then it's C.

That was such a fun video. If there's anyone to successfully teach magnus to backflip it's a gymnast.

Hello Magnus, if you haven't already it would be awesome to see a cycling related video! Especially gravel or mountain biking, or some kind of endurance challenge.

Since I started climbing, I've always had a belief that climbing conditions your body to do well in a lot of different physical activities. I still think that's true, but I suspect gymnastics would really put you on another level. I'd love to watch Odin try some climbing. I'm sure he'd be a beast and pick up more technical movements really quickly.

10:15 I've weighed myself before and after pooping many times out of curiosity and I've never had a poop weigh a full kilogram; for me, they average around 0.2kg, with 0.5kg being pretty unusually high already. BUT if you also urinate you can absolutely lose a kilo, or even two if you're really about to burst. Definitely TMI and probably one of the weirdest comments on here, but I know someone reading this will have wondered about it LOL

Yo, that was awesome. I'd like to see the gymnast climb they are so strong i bet it would transfer well to climbing. Especially the explosive aspects.

Magnus I feel like you should do a cross over video with Till Daling, where you hike to a beautiful bouldering spot in the Norwegian countryside and camp there over night. His cinematography and your character would be an exceptional watch. I know he's not huge but I think the video would be a hit!
