I agree that there’s never been a JYP group like NMIXX. But thats what JYP does. Every group they debut is unique and completely different from what they’ve done before. And their fandoms for each group take a long time to develop. It took Stray Kids like over 3 years to become as big as they are now. And that’s also the time it took for them to hone and develop their sound. I think we will see slow evolution of NMIXX’s sound and style over the years. This one had a lot more rap and I liked that a lot. The middle rap section is my favorite part so far.
I agree. Creates a new sound with existing musical elements. The philosophy of jyp is based on fundamental music. he believe that new things should not deviate from their roots.They can realize these experiments because they have the best skills among the 4th generation. That's why I'm paying attention to Nmix the most.
NMixx kinda reminds me of the path that JYP took with Stray Kids, and the way that people are reacting to them. Stray Kids were considered super flops when they came out (and had less fans at the start than NMixx does now), but there was no panic, and JYP trusted 3Racha to do their own thing and grow their sound and fanbase. The same sort of thing is happening with NMixx. JYP are trusting the vision of what this group is, and I don't feel any panic in the wave of dumb 'flop' comments.
absolutely this. jyp knows authenticity and experimentation will always find their niche audience, and the reason they're not backing down is because they know there is already a solid, strong fanbase that'll only grow as time goes on.
I totally agree with you. Straykids totally ignored by korean people in the early era but after huge recognition from international fans now koreans pay attention to Straykids saying like Straykids music is different from other groups 🤣

Dice is so good! Its intriguing and short where you want more! They did very good mixing of genres like an actual Dj on set at a music festival.

I was not on the initial camp of OO at first it took me a few listens to enjoy it fully. I never hated like other ppl. I was just thrown. Getting to know and understand their sound. This was straight heat right from the jump. Absolutely love it.

There’s all these hate channels that have popped up and I am not here for it. Kpop is my safe positive space where I like to escape from the real world. Haters be like looking through the reactions video, found out the reactor actually like the music, and then leave a dislike button (i mean if they dislike the music it should dislike on the mv itself right? why would it be on the reaction video? what's their intention?). Really don't understand why people do this. Its okay with the dislike on the music but NMIXX really don't deserve all the stupid irrational hate. I hope NMIXX keeps on follow their path, don't the hater win.

What a cool song. We're very lucky to have so many great new groups in kpop. It's like we're going through a golden age, or a platinum one, if a previous age has already been gilded. The inventiveness has been through the roof last two years.
The most experimental and most talented group among the 4th generation. A group with all vocals, dancers, looks and expressive power.

The talent in such a young group gives me so much excitement forntheir future. I still cant believe kyujin is only 16. Her talent is ridiculous as well as all of them. Not to mention they are so entertaining with amazing energy. I cant wait to see what they do in the future

I have to say I am not a fan of the switch ups in their titles. Like you mentioned, this one was less jarring than O.O but still not the biggest fan. Cool in the other side is absolutely amazing.

I agree that they are definitely refining the production, mixing, and transitioning. People keep comparing them to Aespa and SM because SM has been doing this mixing concept for awhile now but it seems that JYPE is trying to do something similar but with their own flare or formula to it. I’m glad that they didn’t comeback with a mini album and instead a single album. Kind of like testing the waters and working the sound to match them instead. Like honestly, no one owns one certain concept or style but making it your own can take time. It just seems people are either hating them due to their debut and wanting them to switch concept to what’s mainstream right now or has worked at JYPE with their girl groups. I’m glad they are sticking to this concept and working it to be their own and better.
O.O had to grow on me honestly, I liked it but wasn't a big fan on the first listen 💁🏻♂️ but DICE 🤯 instant hit 🎯

O.O grew on me, but still wasn't my favorite... but Dice HITS. I think it's just that the two genres in Dice are more my thing than O.O, the groove, the hip hop, I'm here for it. Cool is probably also less my thing than Tank, but I love how many different genres they're covering with just four songs like holy crap!!! I'm gonna be listening to Dice a lot, I can already tell.

The only complaint I have is the chorus, too many lyrics and too much Kyujin (sorry not sorry) but it was rlly Kyujin ft. Nmixx, screentine and lines wise

Dice is better than O.O, but I still don't really like it. Which sucks because once again I like the girls and the video is fantastic... and I see a lot of promise to individual parts of the song, but all together I feel like the song is a mess.
