Yeah, I agree. It's not even a question or debate, any character that can kill you with just one combo is broken, especially if she has a command grab to set it up. Not to mention the speed of Mak is so fast, it's difficult to play reactively, and is forced to guess a lot of the time. Let's put it this way, if 3s was in this era, Makoto would be hotfixed a long time ago.
@@zendiz6168 you wouldn't be able to perform It even against target dummy, stop joking please. BTW, many characters can stun you with less than 2 combos. It is very hard to play her correctly without messing up anything.
@@Steevy84I've noticed too that Ken is the character that is most able to exploit and counter/expose a lot of Makoto's defense weaknesses. I've started playing SFIII with Makoto and have noticed that after my first PVP match at an arcade; I was beating my opponent's Chun Li and then immediately he chose Ken and the tables turned. Trying to get better at not only turning around the defensive but also connecting with grabs. She's very difficult but is the only character that clicks with me.
@@pachucodreams I'm way more scared by a good Ken or Akuma, than a Chun-li as Makoto ( getting hit by a DP combo when I just parried a low kick or punch is really annoying + I can't jump on them like they do all the time without getting punished ).
@@Steevy84 This guy was good, and quickly saw how intimidating it is. I knew what he was doing as soon as he switched to Ken and gave me pressure. I'm practicing more parrying/grabs to counter these situations. I've seen even the best Makoto players have trouble against a good Ken player.
That earrape at the beginning
1:42, good counter aganist the throw when you are standing from the ground.
The combination from 4:38 is so sweet.

This is what I was waiting for.
Deshiken transformed from the Green ranger to the white ranger.
10:14 onwards is pure goodness
Mimora's so sick, holy shit dude
Deshiken came out ahead in their more recent FT10 late last year. It was a great set though.

Actually that was Dominic O Conner (Chunkis from Ireland) who said that but i can see the confusion with names :P
