take off is their 1st japanese song and is the reason why they started promoting in japan. it was very successful (being featured in the anime blue exorcist and had many japanese label wanting to sign with them!) jyp saw how good they were doing in japan and decided to prioritise this over being active in korea. they saved jype from bankruptcy (still making the most money in 2017 right before hiatus) but in turn lost their popularity in korea

I particularly love their Galaxy of 2PM album, which has a lot of songs written by the members (Taecyeon wrote some of them too). They have a very deep Japanese discography.

You should really check out JUN.K discography- the one whose voice is so unique and does the best runs. The guy is a musical genius and you will LOVE his style, he fuses so many genres and his recent album is so deliciously rnb-esque mellow.I highly recommend his music ¬and him ,especially LIVE!

Correct, their older MVs were uploaded early last year when they released a "Best Of" album in Japan.
Take off is an underrated bop that has stuck in my brain when i was in my adolescent ages which I’m glad it’s a precious fragment of my life.
