I know a widowed 29years old girl with daughter kid..her husband was the only child. So even after his demise she refused to leave them and go despite their insisting to move on. The onky reason being that she and her husband shared a wonderful relationship. And for the love she had for him she is not able to move.ahead. it is 5 years since this happened. I too myself believe that a true partner is one who can love you as unconditionally and selflessly as your parents. The two are no different from me. I feel because we think the two differently thats why there are so many break ups over silly issues these days as people inculcate this notion that there are many other people to choose from as your partner. Once we think partner and parents as the same in our life, I think then we get a smooth and healthy relationship. Speaking from my personal experience.

So the girl wants to live in her own house after marriage and take care of her parents because there is no one on which she can rely for her parent's security, safety, and care in their old age and it's her responsibility too to take care of her parents and be there for them. But the Boy is not ready to stay at the girl's place and he wants the girl to leave her parents like they didn't exist and stay at his place. He even doesn't want the girl to help her parents with her own money. I know this is India and here these situations of a boy staying at a girl's place after marriage and taking care of her parents are not common. In fact, it's a Taboo here, log kya kahenge,100tarah ki batein karenge, Lrke ki ijjat ka sawal hai(Jaise lrki ki to koi ijjat hi nai hoti hai) and blah blah!! But it should be a normal thing ...like I don't get this why it takes a lot of effort to make people understand this basic thing that a girl's parents are also parents and should be equally treated.
