- We travel to New York to start the challenge of finding the car that the notorious mobster, Roy Demeo had dumped in the East Channel. We found a car right off the boat ramp of Liberty State Park. No one knew it was there.

I have a big overhead photo of that whole area on my wall and it's very big. Those ferries look small. This is great to watch. It is massive out there so be careful. These videos get 🍿🍿🍿! 😊👍
As a born and raised new yorker from upstate i have seen barges carrying all storts of trash out by the statue of liberty when I visited NYC. would not surprise me if a junk car fell off a barge near there
Maybe it’s just that you’re in NYC or that I’m a Northern New Yorker, but after Adam told the officer he found nothing through the driver’s side windows, I immediately thought, “There’s still the trunk!” Then the officer said FBI usually gets involved, and I thought, “Yes! Because the trunk!” THEN there was casual conversation about it just being stolen and I was shout-thinking, “BUT THE TRUNK!” 😂 I hope no one was in the trunk. 🙏🏼

It’s interesting that the FBI usually gets involved in dumped cars. I can think of two reasons why that’s the case…
Down south we sure DON'T think about the trunk too much 😂

It's good to see that there are some occasions where you guys are like "well, maybe we shouldn't push the danger THIS time". And that you were smart enough to use the life jackets, just in case.
You guys have to be crazy, but it's a Good crazy to take that little boat anywhere around where ferries are running 😂. It was pretty exciting you found that car right after launching the boat. I would have suggested Adam catch a few of those crabs he saw. But I don't think they would have been safe to eat with all the pollutants from all the different boats and things using those waters by the ramp. I’m 10 minutes in and this is the coolest video bc it has the coolest best view of New York from the water and that close to the Statue of Liberty with no other boats out there and everything wow that was such a cool scene to see it like that, that is just so cool you got so close lol

I do see your ups and downs in that boat with the wakes and can see why you got a boat that could kick ass any water in a later video. Was there any update on that car as was it still in there or removed.

Trailer tires are often very low ply tires, so you always want to carry one or two spares, when on a journey. And of course obtain higher rated tires.
I see a trailer cam in the near future!

Good chance you're out of the area by the time you see this comment, but if not you should check out the abandoned 300-foot WWII-era submarine randomly stuck on a river in Hackensack, NJ. The sub was moved up the river in the 70s to be the centerpiece of a small naval museum. In 2012 Hurricane Sandy destroyed the gangplank and unmoored the sub. After that the museum shut down and the land was sold. Meanwhile, decades of sediment deposits have made the river too shallow for the sub, so even if it's in good enough condition to float (questionable at this point), it's impossible to tow it anywhere. Just a giant random sub sitting incongruously in a too-small river.

My friend died in the water near La Guardia Airport, she was a godly good woman, a stewardess for the airlines. She was missing for over a year until someone found her body wash up the the waters nearby. We still don't know what happened. The only thing we were told was she randomly just walked off from the airport, she had an apartment there and there were certain things that just seemed very weird

In Europe we've got mirror extensions/extra mirrors to attach to the original mirrors to be able to see what's happening behind our trailers. Don't you have them in the US too? I would really recommend them to you.

I run the channel in an extra wide and deep flat bottom boat with tugboats pushing barges, if you are careful then you can do it
