Even if this mod was cancelled, if there’s one thing this community is good at, it’s picking up what others scrapped and restoring it. Even at the beginning, Monster’s first song was scrapped, but someone took the unused files and made it work, leading to the devs including it as a secret song. It was later fully integrated.
The luther song it was made by adam mchummus, unfortunately he ended up losing the music flp being now a lost media, Needlemouse creator has 1 minute of the song but the rest is lost forever
i think the reason for it all falling apart is pretty simple, there was too much i can appreciate them shooting for the stars but if all of this where to happen it would likely be the longest fnf mod ive personally ever seen, possibly surpassing golden apple and trying to keep the level of quality they had in there previous songs for all of that likely doomed it from the start, too much and with too few people reaching for the stars was ultimately there undoing, kind of ironic

But it all of it was completely been changed to fit in the original creepypasta where the grass was just green and Tails, Knuckles, and Dr. Eggman were fallen victim to be killed of course. 2.0 Version also had more unused stuff like early sprites for Sonic EXE for You Can't Run, and an unused mechanic where Fleetway Super Sonic was gonna do a Spin Dash move.
I honestly don't get why people like curse his design is ok he is a friendly exe that's all I know about him but still I think that curse is kinda mid he just. Isn't scary for being an exe character. But I don't get why people would HATE him to an extent where the page had to be protected.

Lord x was gonna have 5 songs, thos being execution remake by ???, cycles by uptaunt, gatekeepers by uptaunt, saster, punkett, and others, gotta go by sturm, and hellbent by guy who i can’t say the name of. Also, there is gameplay of gotta go out there like joe said. Sanic was bot gonna have 2 songs, the second song leak was actually a concept for the OG too fest. Fatal error was left out, but he was gonna have two songs, being fatality by saster, and critical error by the frog but was later changed to someone else i forgor. Hog and scorched, dsk, skinwalker (grimeware) and curse were gonna be in a side mod called “file extensions” which some may recognize as the misfits mod. Bf.exe had an unnamed song that you can find on youtube. Satanos had two songs, being trickery and perdition, both can be found on youtube in their whole, and satanos was later moved to parallax, and then daredevil inc, and now has no home. The amy.exe and knuckles.exe songs were for amy_alt and knuckles_alt. On the topic of the alts, they had 7 songs planned. One for cream_alt, the second for rosy_alt, then two for amy_alt, one for knuckles_alt, one for sally_alt, and an extra song for sonic_alt. Chaotix was gonna have two songs, my horizon and our horizon. Onmyway wqs gonna have two songs being planestrider and universal collapse. Universal collapse can be found but planestrider is lost media. Secret history tails was never scrapped and always planned. Requital was gonna have a second song called deception. He is now in two tail insanity with dsk. Sl4sh was gonna have a second song where he would fight marstarbro, the creator of sl4sh, but it was scrapped because they didnt want to have self inserts. B4cksl4sh, the og sl4sh song can be found on youtube. Demogri was planned to have 2 songs, uh oh and mourning sun. A second character alongside demogri named griatos was planned with the song haze. All three of these songs can be found on youtube. There was much more planned but I’ve typed enough. I honestly think that the mod's biggest problem is that it got too popular. You can't put this much pressure on teenagers that have a life outside of this community. They tried to please the fans by adding in as much as possible which was ultimately the mod's undoing. All the controversys and the leaks didn't help either. And this is just a personal opinion but I think that the caracters created by the mod team were unnececarry. All they did was that they made the mod feel even more bloated than it already was and put more work on the team.
Devs did this for themselves, they got devoured by greed of fame, Revie was the one against it, the one who wanted to embrace .exe community and its content. After all that false accusations, she removed herself and mod got overloaded by shit ton of Twitter OCs that have literally nothing to do with exe culture (like curse)

Hog's sonic form is fine to me. It's the transformation that gets under my skin cuz it's just a complete ripoff from exe. AND THEY TRIED TO REPLACE EXE WITH WECHIDNA. and revie was framed for one reason jealousy.

Leaks, drama, and other reasons were why this mod got cancelled. But I think one primary issue is that they were trying to add too much.

(not revie i mean another old director i forgot the name)
