Sancho as replacement for Sterling is amazing business, after what we went through with these owners the past 2 years, the decisions from the club have lowkey been fantastic. Yes there's been mistakes along the way, like buying Mudryk for 60 mil, Badiashile, perhaps even Disasi, but we've also gotten several brilliant young stars. And context also matters, we did spend a billion but we also made a billion in sales because we basically replaced our entire squad with young high potential players. What we're seeing right now with this team is still not the final product, only progress, and we're making good progress under Maresca. This team still has so much to accomplish, trophies to win, and I think someday this squad will be able to do it.

I was jealous when Man U bought Sancho I always wanted Sancho for Chelsea. So when Man U were desperate to offload him and Chelsea came in with a loan plus an obligation to buy I was very happy. I didn't think Sancho was finished I think he was a victim of a toxic atmosphere at Man U.

It’s great to see Jadon Sancho playing at an incredible level in his first couple of games at Chelsea where he has as many assists as games played for them in the premier league. Not too long ago, he was killing it week in week out for Borussia Dortmund in his first stint at the club as at the time, he was seen as an elite winger, he was putting up great numbers despite his young age, he was enjoying his football and dazzling past defenders for fun and he looked as if he would be a genuine superstar by now. He formed an excellent partnership with Erling Haaland and this allowed Sancho to elevate his game and get better with every passing season. His excellent performances earned him a big money move to Manchester United where we expected him to do more of the same and have a massive impact on the team and end up taking them to another level.

If some player to failed to play better at certain club, doesn't mean they're not good.. It's just a pattern of different gameplay. Not all of them can adapt different roles of skills & position or any tactics/strategies; moreover treatment towards them from club management too. Some of them even improved better after leaving their club. Players like KDB, Mo Salah, Cole Palmer and others.

I think he's definitely a more sensitive bloke, and someone who's gonna thrive in a positive dressing room. From what we can gather, the ManU approach was 'We bullied him and he didn't get any better, it's obviously his fault.' And it's really hard to think otherwise when he plays so much better anywhere but there. He's talented and Maresca doesn't seem like a disciplinarian to that extent. I think this is what he needs. He's playing football for his favourite club, manager loves him, fans love him. This is where we get the best Jadon Sancho.

    what a fantastic name

  • @tobaepebinuade5830
    @tobaepebinuade5830 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

There are many contributing factors as to why his time there didn’t work and while it’s easy to blame him, it wasn’t entirely his fault when we’re talking about a club that’s so good at destroying player’s careers as they’ve been detrimental to the development of players as no player has realistically improved there since 2013 which was a decade ago, not to mention that it’s a dysfunctional team where so many players have come in and out and there has been a revolving door when it comes to managers at the club. Whenever he played, he looked like a shadow of his former self as he had moments where he showed flashes of glimpses, at the end of the day for the amount of money they paid for him, he never had a consistent run of good performances and sooner or later, United fans started to give up on him and lose patience although he was dealing with mental issues. His fallout with Erik ten Hag made things worse and both of them are at fault for not truly being on good terms with each other and yes Ten Hag is the manager and he’s the one who publicly called him out for not putting enough effort in training and he’s fallen out with so many players, the list of them is endless and while Sancho should’ve never gone on social media to call him a scapegoat and he had a right to punish him trying to send a message and he wanted him to apologize as he felt disrespected, instead of banishing him from the squad, they should’ve worked things out better behind closed doors. After he returned to Dortmund on loan, Sancho was showing signs of his best form and he looked more comfortable in their system he played with more confidence and on top of that, he played a role in them getting to the champions league final where he produced a masterclass in the semifinals against PSG where he completed 10+ dribbles and he produced his best performance in years.
After he returned to Manchester United and “apologized”, it was very clear that his relationship with ten Hag was still very sour and both of them didn’t see eye to eye with each other and he was promised that he would get another chance to prove himself, but he never fancied him and on deadline day, he made a shocking move to Chelsea one of their direct rivals on loan while taking a massive pay cut and there’s an option in his contract to sign him on a permanent basis at the end of the season. When they signed him, there were a lot of eyebrows raised and that’s because they have so many attackers who play in the same position, they needed a striker not another winger, due to his poor stint at United and his track record there, there was a feeling that his style of play suited the Bundesliga much better than the premier league. Due to what we saw from him in his 2nd stint at Dortmund, Enzo Maresca saw that he’s a very good player and he can get him back to his best if he’s surrounded around the right system and in such a long season where they’ll play so many games it’s important to have depth and competition in certain positions in the team. He has hit the ground running with 3 assists in 3 games, it feels as if he’s been playing ok Chelsea for his entire life, he is very suited to Maresca’s possession based style of play since he’s very direct technical creative and he can play on both wings or even as an attacking midfielder here and there since he’s more of a creator than a scorer and we could be seeing his redemption arc if he continues playing like this as they could end up signing him permanently although there’s so much competition for places in attack and if he suffers a dip in form, he’ll spend a significant time on the bench, as with all of the talent he has, consistency is an issue for him. Sancho has always been a good player, it’s difficult to judge him off of his time at Manchester United when there were many differentiating factors in his struggles there and based off of the way he’s started his career at Chelsea and how well he played in both of his stints at Borussia Dortmund, we see the best out of him when he’s surrounded around the right environment in a system that suits his strengths.

But getting the money he gets, getting the exceptions he got at united. The money he got brought for. United fans would expect a bit more. People act like Sancho is a guy who didnt have faults. He disrespected united fans who still loved him. He hates the manager, OK. But he disrespected the football club so much and the fans who loved him

United are an awful club where great players go to ruin their talent for some reason
    It's not only sancho
Varane was a world class same with Casimero Pogba Maguire and look at Rashford now he used to be a top player basically every player in United if they move away they'll play better

Looking at his 2012 tweet it looks as if he is a Chelsea fan
But he didnt mention anything like that in the first Interview but mentioned about his love for London instead.
So I dont think he has brought into the club's ideas and I feel he will also be one of them who would go to Arsenal later in his career because he has no loyalty to any club.
I dont rate him very highly, but I am happy he is having a positive impact so far. He has a lot to do to win over the entire fan base. Consistency is and competence is what Chelsea fans want and he hasnt been it since forever I think. So he has to evolve and work hard, something for which he is not well known for

hes said outright a couple years ago in an interview that he was a chelsea fan growing up, and looks up to drogba and lampard.
Also i think the chelsea environment is perfect for him, with the chemistry the guys got.
The only way I see him leaving is if his form drops and he isnt consistent enough, as its still early days.

Sancho looks to be a MASSIVE upgrade over Sterling. Sterling had good moments but he was so inconsistent and almost looked like he had decision making as bad as Mudryk's. He killed our attacks very often by giving the ball away to defenders trying to dribble directly through them or made horrendous passes. Sancho on the other hand frequently makes great decisions, can properly dribble past defenders cleanly, and above all can make pinpoint perfect passes. I'm excited to see his future with us, what an absolute bargain.
