Nice find with the rink! Your plow install is significantly easier than the Diesel Cat! I have broken my steel cable probably 6 times in the last 8 years. I am no hockey player... Maybe I will ref...
@@adamellis4301 this plow is so easy to put on and off. I can’t imagine an easier system. Interesting that your steel cable breaks also. I guess I’m not bad off with the rope. I know they sell different mounting connections so that you pulley back to a higher spot and gain the mechanical advantage. We can use a goalie. Are you up for that???? 🤣
@@ryansmith1038thanks. I can give that a try! I never did understand why they say not to use it. Maybe because the rope could get caught in the corners?
Switch over to a 10 to 15 ft tow strap that's what we do here in nfld keeps the rope and cable from snaping strap never breaks 3500lb up strap
Interesting! And the winch doesn’t have a problem jamming up?
@OneRide no jamming same 10 ft strap 5 years with D ring
Buys a 20 ft 10,000 lbs one at princessauto for 10 bucks got 2 out it still on first one
@@newfiehunter709awesome, thanks! I have a couple of those straps. I bought a bunch when they went on sale for $4!
Nothing more Canadian than that !
@@Timr45_70 yup! Just missing the maple syrup!

@@OneRide I might be able to be a goalie if I can sit in a wheelchair?
You should have the fairlead with the rollers
Maybe. But for rope they say not to use that one for some reason.
@ oh I have a rope with the rollers and my rope never breaks

@ not sure
You should flip your fairlead around.
Good call! I noticed that when I put the rope back in.
