Hi my name is Carl Jacobson,
I started woodworking with my grandfather as a young boy. I continued woodworking through high school, and started woodturning after seeing a turned project in a friends shop. Some of my fondest memories are working with my grandfather in his wood shop. Being able to share our passion for woodworking, ties it all together. Neat project Carl! I may have to make a couple of these--one for the dogs and one for me. I think I'll fill it with M & Ms and put it on a table when I'm watching a sporting event. It will make me work for them and limit how many i eat! LOL

Wonderful project! Along with making one for my dog, I think this would be a great project to make a small version of for my 8-week-old kitten, but with a bell in it. He loves to chase and pounce on things, so this would make a great toy for him to hunt and kitten-kill ;)

Great little project……BUT the large set of rings at only 3 1/2 inches is $36.00 or so…. I’ll have to pass on this on, Fido is getting an old bone.
