This song is the opening for the set list of the US tour, now have a bunch of fan cam about every city where this song was played and the intro was included to in a back track.
The story IIRC was that the anime producers wanted an orchestral intro and so Kanami studied that genre and put together the intro heard.
You picked up on some great details. Having seen them in Dallas and Houston...I can confirm that all these songs hit harder live.
It's logical to re-listen to their great 2022 tour opening song over and over because... Band-Maid makes Sense! Thx, SkiBuff!
