This is so relaxing. Hypnotic to watch the clay, and you speak so calm and clear!
that's so kind of you to say, thank you!
You have wonderul vibes and fantastic hair.
Deserve more views!
hey this made my day thank you!
We just started our youtube a few days ago, so i'm sure the views will come with time :)
This was extremely helpful. It's just chock full of good tips delivered in a soothing manner. Thank you for taking the time to make it.
so kind of you to say, thank you and glad it was helpful :)
Honestly, this is like ASMR for me. ❤
love that!
I’ve always wanted to try pottery, but I lost my chance after I became more disabled, so now I try to live vicariously through videos. This really explained a lot of things about what I’ve been watching that I didn’t understand/weren’t explained. It’s a fascinating process and I’m horribly, horribly sad that I’ll never get to try it now. Thank you for explaining everything so slowly and clearly! 🙏🏻
goodness i'm sorry to hear that, and thank you for sharing. I'm glad that the videos can provide some of the experience and that they helped show some of what's going on! Let me know if you have any other questions about the process and I'll do my best to share what I know!
That was a very nice tutorial
Thank you!
This just made me want to learn even more than i already have wanted to!! Just not in my budget yet 🥺
Aw one day I’m sure! We have an online class on our website which will give you a great foundation for when you join a studio!
You’re so calm and charming. And the video is very helpful. Thank you!
so kind of you, thank you and I'm glad it was helpful!
You have a great way of teaching and passing on knowledge! Keep up the good work, love to see more on your YT for Global audience
so kind of you, thank you! and hoping to do some translated videos in the future too :) will keep it up!
ohh, this makes so much more sense! I love making sculptures and things out of clay but I could never work out how to use the wheel, I figured I just didn't have the strength for it, anything I tried ended up very lumpy and covered in fingernail-claw marks...
it's definitely a little tricky, but I'm glad this helped! some people throw with a lot of strength, but I avoid it as it can wear down our joints over time. My recommendation if it feels like you need to use strength, is to bring your arms into your body, and then try to lean into the clay-- using the weight of one's body rather than strength to move the clay. let me know how it goes!
Excellent, thank you for sharing. I do wood turning. It's similar but different. A subtraction vs. additive approach. But for a beginner you are an excellent instructor describing and guiding very well. Thank you for sharing
thank you for the kind words! I've noticed the similarity with wood turning. Hoping to try that one day and see if some of the skills are transferable. maybe the steadiness of the hands?
I am in the beginning stages of throwing. this is so helpful! thank you!!!
oh fantastic! I'm glad it helped and feel free to ask if you'd like me to cover anything specific in future videos!
Nice work. Was kinda hypnotizing.
Glad you liked it!
I wanted to keep eye contact with you during the video and not watch what your hands were doing. Will have to watch again. Im glad you are sharing on TH-cam. Looking forward to seeing your videos.
Oh thank you! More to come on TH-cam for sure, and a four part course on our website if you’d like to go even more in depth!
I’m trans too! 🏳️⚧️✌️🫶
💕
This was both informative and fun to watch, you should keep making videos like this, for your own sake please do. I'm gonna be honest though, lose the stache friend, it really isn't good for you 😅😅
well thank you! more videos to come :) and you know what? the stache went away last month 😮 definitely outgrew it I think 😹
