    I was there for this one. Tony Currie. What a memory! Football will never be dull, but I'll always prefer the game of the seventies over that of today. It was English football. That truly doesn't exist anymore. The old folk know it (-;

    What a player Tony Currie was with a wand for a right foot. As a 9 year old that swerve left a lasting impression on me and I'm a Toffee supporter. I was praying we could sign this magician one day. Legend

    As a young lad in the seventies Tony Curry was my favourite Leeds player. Just a pity he left when he did.

    Some excellent stuff here, and that Volley Pass by Tony Curry at 3.14 was pure class!

    Thanks so much for posting this. I was there. My Dad drove us up from Southampton. He was gutted but I was flipping Chuffed. I'm so lucky to have witnessed a Paul Madeley goal! Thanks again.

    This was the first Leeds match I went to. My dad took me which was kind of him as he was a Barnsley fan. He did cheer every time Leeds scored though. Great memories.

    Tony Currie could bend a football like Uri Geller bends spoons!
    Shame his Mrs forced him to leave Leeds and head south, wonderful player and entertainer.

      I was crushed when he left. You don't replace stars like him very easily. He was a class act! The next was Cantona. What a loss that was!!

    Not sure what the crowd was, but the Kop doesn't look busy, and the South Stand certainly doesn't.

    This is more entertaining than today's game. Tony Currie and Eddie Gray were just two players better than any English or Scottish players now. And they weren't muli-millionaire woke snow flakes. Check out Eddie Gray's two goals in the same game against Burnley I think in 1970.

      You need to carry on watching. I assume the title means goal number 3.
