Estes Mean Machine and 200% Upscale Mean Machine Fail

Took an Estes Mean Machine and a scratch built 3.1” Mean Machine upscale to the club launch.
The Estes Rocket flew perfectly on an E12-6.
The upscale had an airframe failure just prior to motor burnout at around 500 feet.

Looked like it was wind cocked before it left the pad. Try Blue Tubes for construction next time, they work great with wood or fiberglass and make rockets that bounce(lol)❤
