- It is time for a change. It is broken and everything broken can’t be fixed. At 0-4 after Sunday’s 24-20 loss to the Texans, there ain’t no coming back from that for the Jaguars.
The GM who sucks at drafting players should be fired first...

2-Struck absolute gold on the BTj pick
3-Bigsby looking solid
4-Ventrelle Miller looking solid
5-Devin Lloyd seems to be the best LB on the squad
6-Montaric Brown has stabilized this secondary and will be great piece going forward
So, the record is mixed, man. And, I bet most NFL fans have a GM with mixed results.
And then jags nation is loving them again after they won. Haterade works more than loving them if they go coasting.

On the 4 minute drive do a screen a easy pass or run to help the man get his confidence back. He nearly threw 2 interceptions and both stop the clock. Unless he changed the play that’s coaching
Press Taylor was the Colts top offensive assistant in 2021 when Wentz choked and scored 11 points in a must win game vs the 2-14 jaguars. Trevor is 0-9 his last 9 games with the poison press calling plays eagles went 4-12 in 2020 under Press Taylor’s guidance
Eh. Be patient. These games were super close and we’ve had massive slew of injuries.
The team played very hard in houston. Trevor missed the throws and we didn’t get in on 4th and 1.
Coaching isn’t the problem. Our 24 yo QB is good for a 24 year old but it will take time for him to mature as a pro.
Changing everything around won’t do much except for change for changing’s sake.

Just a piggyback off this, yes, so you get rid of Doug and now you make Trevor come in and learn a whole new system all over again. They’re getting ready to click. They almost had that game pulled out yesterday. The first two games were lost by three points. They got blown out by the bills, but the bills just got blown out by the ravens. Stuff like that happens on occasion. Let’s see what they do against the Colts and then they could easily win one or both in London
@@JJ4848 Ya, he may actually regress big time. The gameplan in houston did, in fact, work. The playcalls did work. Trevor was just inches off on a few throws.
You fire a staff, you might as well say goodbye to Lawrence. Which is stupid, in my opinion. I lived through Bortles and company. I'd take Lawrence in a heartbeat.

The problem with these teams is when they think they are great they start coasting and not trying to win then they lose. I've seen it time and again.

The warning sings were there from last December.We lost 8 straight AFC conference games and 6 straight road games.That one reason why we are on a 5 game regular season losing streak
I disagree with you Jamal. Usually on a lot of things. So this wouldn't be the first time I've heard you talk and shook my head. I do agree that he is, for whatever reason, overly loyal to Press Taylor. I would not mind to see that change. I knew there was going to be a transitional time in the defense. You don't just make those kind of wholesale changes and come out like it's going to all be great from game one. Usually it takes half a season for things to start to mesh. So let's be patient there. Players win and lose games. Trevor has missed wide open throws in every game. Inexcusable for a quarterback that's supposedly a franchise player. That's not the coach's fault. The coach is responsible for game planning, situational football, etc. The players have to look at themselves and become accountable. The problem is we as Jacksonville Jaguar fans think our players are better than they actually are. Tyson Campbell can't stay healthy, Trevor Lawrence is not shown the signs of being mentally strong enough to carry the franchise quarterback label. Label the offensive line is garbage and it's been garbage and they keep telling us it's not garbage and guess what it still stinks. So for that there's some blame for the coaching staff and allowing those players to hang around. That's also personnel, that's also Trent Baalke. Yes we started out 0 and 4 and everyone's frustrated and wants to replace the entire team and push the reset button again. How many times are we going to continue to push the reset button. Jesus Christ man. Let's be patient. There aren't going to be any changes made before the end of the season unless it is a complete dumpster fire which I don't believe will happen now that the schedule has shifted and we're not playing as many difficult teams. You want to fire the coach who brought us the first back-to-back winning seasons in like 20 years. And now you want to fire him after a possible bad year. Don't get me wrong. I'm not happy at all with the way this goes and I get it. I have been watching the jaguars since 1995. Clearly I'm a masochist because I enjoy pain. Why else would I subject myself to this display of an aptitude year after year. But at the end of the day it's the players. In my opinion, our players are good enough to be competitive and possibly make the playoffs. But it's going to be the players, not the coaches that get us there. Whether it be this year with Doug next year with Doug or with another coach entirely. Face it. We overrated ourselves. Especially that. Sorry defensive line. Oh my God
No press also killed us when we passed it on 2nd and 3rd down when we had the lead with 4 minutes left and Houston only had two timeouts. It's the lack of accountability that makes this all somehow even worse. We continue to call the dumbest things in the most important and basic parts of the game. Trevor had a higher completion percentage his rookie year too
The biggest question is Why is Doug Pederson so loyal to Press Taylor that he would commit coaching suicide? Doesnt Doug know that if Doug goes Press goes as well? Doug needs to take back play calling- we were doing so well when Doug and not Press was calling the plays.

The Texans are horrible this year in getting tons of penalties and have 3 key injuries to their starters, yet they still find ways to win. The Texans now have a 3-1 record.

i am an eagles fan and if you couldn't tell doug and i love him to death is not a good coach i don't know what you were watching during his time here and i was surprised he got another coaching job in the nfl he inherited a great team

Per usual the head coach is the escape goat. Lawrence is broken because of his contract the head coach takes blame.

u might be right but right now we gotten focused on this season first we still have a lot of football left and like some of the jaguar players said one game at of time they everything else will take care of it self I really believe we have the players to do it right now me and the jaguar is standing on faith

Let this coaching staff simmer in their own juices since this season is already a bust. There is no need to pull the carpet out from underneath until a new plan is developed. That said, with a new start we can use the old excuse "don't worry, it will take a couple years to develop into a winner". Lather, rinse, repeat. Trevor can make another trip to Waffle House, order the All Star Special and reminisce about the good 'ol days.
And I was actually thinking about saving so I can go to one of the London games for vacation???? NOT!!!!!

He didn't outplay the Jags. He got lucky at the end to throw a very, very last second td. That game could have gone either way.
