I love Blue Rodeo... Thanks Rory.
I absolutely adore Blue Rodeo and Jim Cuddy! I love their songs and have been a fan for many many years. Be sure and watch the video Blue Rodeo - "Lost Together" [Official Video] . I wrote a letter to thank them for sharing their wonderful music with the us all and Jim's wife wrote me back a personal letter and I will cherish it forever!! Be sure and go down the Blue Rodeo rabbit trail and you will be amazed!! I saw them live twice here in Calgary Alberta Canada and it was BRILLIANT!
my fave song of BR.
It's Chris, thanks, awesome!
I almost missed this one. I could've swore I recommended this one last year, but maybe it was just on my list of future requests.
Speaking of Blue Rodeo, I just bought our tickets for their end-of-summer annual concert at Toronto's [beer-brand-named] amphitheatre [down by the lake] yesterday morning. I think I'll have to buy the latest phone beforehand, so as to provide Rory with some better recordings this coming autumn!
I LOVE Dwight Yokum!!!! Absolutely phenomenal singer/songwriter!
You are so right..Jim Cuddy is an amazing performer.
I saw them many times in Toronto and Kingston
Re-watching this reaction, I just had a minor epiphany: my two favourite groups, Rush and Blue Rodeo both generally write/wrote happy sounding music. The words might tell otherwise, it the delivery mechanism was quite often joyful.😊
Us Canadians are usually pretty optimistic, we try to see the good side of every situation
Someone Sugested The Northern Pikes, 100% recommend The Things I do For Money by them.
Re: Jim's songs, it's true. I guess I'm more partial to Greg's songs. I'll try to correct that with future requests.
Did you see how early that performance was? It was so long ago that Greg was still playing the electric guitar (i.e. before his ear problems forced them to add another guitarist).
Check out The Northern Pikes...same era Canadian
