- In this video I am going to show you the graphic settings you are going to need for day of dragons. Dont take my word for it play with the settings and see what works best for you. and remember. the game is for you and what you like the game to look like and play like.

I have about everything on medium and foliage density on low with a 3060 and get around 40-50 fps. Also with high def shadows off.

I've noticed there are a lot of kinks that need to be worked out with the lighting and shadows. Sometimes there are other graphic issues, for example, night vision sometimes makes everything pitch black, or water flickering green and pink around your character from far away as of its struggling to determine how light is supposed to work around you etc, but it makes sense for the most part. The game is in early access and they've just switched from Unreal 4 to 5. Overall, they've done really well so far.
they had a hotfix today for the night vision. but yes their are still a lot of kinks to be worked out yet.
I am going to eventualy buy/have made 2 desktops that are higher than the max specs for the game as not only will they be used for the game and maybe streaming but also for helping my sis Night Wolf work on the games she wants to make.

I simply put all graphics to Normal and now it works perfectly fine for me.

I really hope they optimize version 1.0 soon, I was able to run game at high settings before 1.0 now everything is low with maybe some medium and limited fr at 30 . . .
Yeah their is some stuff to work on. Unreal engine 5 is hard on computers. until the hardware can keep up with the software its kinda limiting
@@CallmePancakegaming for sure I definitely feel bad for people who played a lot in legacy but are struggling with the update, however I think the team is trying real hard to work on it and even with the bumpy soft release Im really looking forward to Blitz coming out soon!
Same as Ark SA, UE5 makes such big different that for the first time I say my pc struggles 😅

I’m only a 3060 yet it runs high easily. It only lags at the blossom islands when I look at all the biolumins XD
makes sense. I have no issues playing either. with a 3070ti

I have a 1920 x 1080 monitor, should I set the auto resolution scaling and resolution scale to anything in particular for that? Also is fullscreen or borderless better for performance? Would appreciate any help from anyone ^^
Full screen is fine and you shouldn't have to mess with the scaling
I play with gigabyte 3060 and 1 or two low settings some high some epic and many on beawesome settings, what kind of 3070 ti is that, i dont have any lags, or lets just say most of the time more than 30 fps in some cases 40 fps wich isnt laggy?
you need to remember I am playing and recording as well, so it uses a lot of power to do both, I have a EVGA 3070ti

Is legacy still UE4?
Unfortunately I can’t even get into the game with lowest graphics and lowest resolution settings. It crashes and freezes on the loading screen (with the white dragon silhouette icon the corner), and no matter what, it does not work. I’ve tried updating my drivers, verifying integrity of files, even windowing and making the tab small so the resolution is absolute lowest, it does not work. So frustrating. I wish the mods will look into helping this issue or optimizing the map more 😢

It gets harder to join a server when the players count is high i weirdly could join on a 19 player server but not the official 100 player server

all they need to do is optimise it i mean the isle is on unreal engine 5 it looks sooooo much better and solid 60fps at epic graphics i built my pc to handle starcitizen
yeah optimization is still in the works. and they have solid plans to keep adding to the game every couple of weeks for the next couple of months and I am sure they will have a lot more when that time is up. updates should be a lot faster now.
Ooop gotta use this as reference cause rn i feel like im in roblox 😂 everything is so stiff espectally the big dragons. Also idk if it's permanent but i like how they did the skins in legacy. They current skins looks like it colored with crayons lol it looks so dry. GOLD metallic look is poof lol

what do you recommend for a 4060?
settings wise. medium to high should run fine... a 4060 is basically the same as a 3070ti... I run everything at medium.

start saving maybe? mow some neighbors lawns or shovel some driveways. you should be able to get a better graphics card
I play on all max settings, you can barely see with all the foliage XD

You should put them in your description or at least the CPU + GPU combo in the title, a lot of people were probably clicking on the video to check that then clicking off because it wasnt listed.

It'll play the game. I play on a 3070ti with a 5700x CPU. If your planning on buying a new laptop I would go with at least a 3070 day of dragons is just the start of what new pcs are going to require.
Ah alr well I'll have a look but do you think the laptop I'm thinking of getting meets the requirements for a smooth ish gameplay on medium or low setting? Because I'm on a buget and just look to run games like this and the isle with ease but I'll have a look around for that and I'll tell you If I come across anymore cheap laptops with a 3070 or higher ty and I hope we can stay in contact so I can pick the right laptop because that would mean alot to me XD I'm buying it with my own money and I'm quite young haha

Keep crashing due to low video memory, this doesnt happen with any other game. Lmk if someone finds a fix
