Time for something different, so here’s a lil’ snare shoot out of all of the Tama Snare drums that I own.

For a while I thought the snare was off!
I think i like the sounds of the copper and the 80s snare that you played. Sorry just me , but the tones and pitches of those two snares sound richer and carry more. Maybe it's just me 🤷🏽♂️ ✌🏽😎🤙🏽
And I apologize, you don’t have Zildjian cymbals! I just now saw the brands at the beginning after I started the video over! My bad! It just looked like a Zildjian on your right crash with the brilliant finish. They sound good! And of course the Tama drums sound phenomenal! I happen to get Tama drums when I first got real adult size drums! A mix of 80’s Imperial Star, Fibrestar and Superstar! So I’ve always been a TAMA guy! Then I got Tama Rockstar-DX drums that I had for 31 years! Then just last year, upgraded to the Tama Starclassic Walnut/Birch Hybrid Shell with Piano Black Finish! And just finishing up also upgrading with Tama hardware across the board. TAMA is definitely one of the best! And the best in my book!
Dude! Hell Yeah! Great video! And that Tama snare is crackin’! LOVE IT! And Tasty Bass drum and breakneck blastbeats going down! Is that STAR Tama drums you have there? And what Zildjian cymbals do you have? Badass job again! And this is the next snare I’m getting! I’ve had my eye on it for awhile now, with the great features and heavy duty lugs!
I have just got the Tama Starclassic Walnut/Birch 14x6.5 Snare with the Phantasm Oyster Lacquer with the finish being a tribute to the first little drum set I had, but this snare is next!

So between this and the Starphonic Copper, which one to choose ? I love the sound of both. I don’t own an aluminium drum but I own a 14x6.
I also don’t own a copper drum and I also don’t own a 14x7.
Which one should I go for when it’s a 50/50 tie ?
