Wow what a time era! Them cars, clothing, music, airplanes heck even the scenery, just everything very stylish and quality made with pride❤ Nice movie!
This movie must have inspired White Sands (1992) starring Willem Defoe who played a sheriff and Mickey Rourke which starts off in a desert location dealing with a dead body . Cornel Wilde was perfectly cast as the sheriff himself here .
In the 1950s, Arizona Deputy Sheriff Les Martin is pressured by his community to solve a string of mysterious murders around a mining ghost town in the Grand Canyon.
good movie, was even better äfter skipping through the parts where the girl was in it. . i learned to skip by watching the sepranoß. turns an hour long boring show into ten good minutes. by skipping any of the "toñy's family is talking" parts of the ßhow.
I see a growing number of similar channels to this one with girly vids that only attract 40/50 views and a couple of decent films thrown in. Very odd!!
Generally not a terrible fan of "what made Corbel Wilde", but this here is a decent B-flick, with lots of glorious two tone 1950's cars in Technicolor or whatever it was called in 1959. First time I see it, and I've added it immediately to my Retroscoop Crime Movies list here on TH-cam. First good discovery this year in the genre, thanks a lot for this upload !
Otimo filme. Recomendo.
Back when cars had faces

they are saying the price of GOLD = $35 - $50 an ounce - Australia = $4.300 an ounce today price = $48 per ounce for silver !
If only for the climatic ending!! 👌🏻🎥
Loved the film crew shadow.
Never noticed it. Too busy watching the movie. You should try it sometime.
Tilting the hat forward a bit would have enhanced this movie greatly.
Great free movie. Loved it. Thank you for sharing. Make certain you watch the movie to the very end.
I've seen this movie several times. It's not bad, but the best is the cars, the mountain scenery, mid century interiors, and glorious 50's Technicolor.
A very nice 1950’s film. Enjoyable to watch!
Filmed near kingman, AZ
10:30 Dan Mathews Highway Patrol. haha

30-40 of the cars/trucks in this movie would be great to have in 2025. (Jack Elm most likely has something to do with it). Great actor.
While it was thrown off the cliff, it was a 1949 Buick, and when it fell off the cliff, it became a 1950 model.
Funny because that ‘49 looked pretty rough for a 10 year old car. It’s probably still at the bottom of the mountain.
Great movie
Nice film.I guano suggest it to friends. 👍
Surprisingly good movie.
Very good film!
And a great slice of 1950s Americana...
That "old road" is the old Route 66 outside Oatman AZ its a col road to ride
aussie actress victoria shaw alias jeanette elphick was, like the spectacular grand canyon, very beautiful.
Loved it, Curtis/Wright, goose, bell 59 t-bird, Edsel wagon..just to name a few
Only 10 minutes in, but it sure reminds me of Virginia City, Nevada.. we used to race those back roads...
Damn! The last scene was scary!
EBALZwaysa great actor agreat story thank you ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
that last scene on the Bat Guano tram....wild
What a gritty old movie.
Scenery was magnificent.
Good plot and cast😊
The best intro, I totally expected tho ‘old guy driving yellow car’ over cliff lose.

Well done for the description. If the uploaders is gaining with ads, then they should at least provide a synopsis!
This is a fantastic foray or preamble to the zaney movies of the 60's. It's a real jewel
Well made! I really liked this film I had somehow missed.
Zoweee what a climax! Puts thr cable car fight in James Bond to shame! A great little picture from the great Don Siegel.
Saw the same movie a few months back. Found it entertaining and full of interesting cars and aircraft.
Well! He sure wasn't a "young man".🙄
