We witnessed your departure from the lee side of stoney this day,...just KNEW you'd have a GREAT run with friends. Looks like you had a BLAST ! Keep doing it Tim !!....e.
Tim - great light and contrast in the video, and great downwinding - very cool that you had compatriots to share it - is it partially due to your demonstration of how superior the paddling on this lake can be?
Paul, I think you may be partially right. Another contributing factors are that I have been meeting more paddlers and there have been some other downwind paddlers that have recently moved to Duluth, with has been great for me!
@@ttrayn1000 That's great - I also appreciated Marcus Imes' videos of your group approaching the lift bridge. It's cool to get multiple perspectives, which will be more likely now that your group is growing.
Michael, the best down wind conditions occur with major systems generating wind over several to many hours. There is rarely, if ever, a sudden wind direction change under these conditions.
Superb surfskiing!

Cool footage. Lake Superior looks like an ocean.
I think that is my favorite video of yours!
I agree Zach!
Nice video, looks fun.
Awosome!!!
Great video . Do you mind to share which mount do you use for your gopro? Cheers
I use a custom mount made with a piece of carbon nordic ski pole with a fiberglass base the I tape to the stern hull.

Yowza!
What happens if the wind switches direction?

Looks awsome but scary
