Thoughts on Shigaraki's new quirk set after a day with/against him now?

Keep your knees bent and your feet down. Fall like a sack of beans-relax everything. Fall on the soft, fleshy places, like your butt and thighs. These areas have more protection and are lower to the ground. Best way you can fall from google😊
Beta + Gama feels really satisfying when it connects perfectly. He's kind of meh at beginning but at Lv 9 he is really a menace. You can catch/cancel/defeat Momo, Denki, Toga and Uraraka's attacks with your gamma as well, which is kinda great.

That would be true if Bakugo couldn't just fly upwards.
@@T.Gundham His fly ability gets easily canceled too because its too slow in beginning, specially against Uraraka Beta and Momo's Alpha.
Just gonna let you know. There is a setting in display settings that changes the dmg numbers to be cumulative. Basically instead of showing 36 twice it will show 72.
My thoughts on the falling, your back has a bigger surface and the impact will disperse throughout your body if you spread your arms /legs out. I guess just make sure you down smash your head into anything. It’ll hurt like hell and it’ll knock the wind outta you but depending on how big the fall is you could maybe try falling into a roll which will also fuck you up but idk.
I've learned to land that way in Martial arts as well as Professional Wrestling (WWE) training.
It's physics, think about all the impact you would take. Now think about absorbing all of that through 2 small points (your feet) or disbursing the impact across a larger surface (your back).

Tiny tip I’ve come to notice with Catastrophe Shig too for ya’ll:
When escaping with the Gamma, I find that after the second dash, holding it to fall to the ground helps cover your tracks and provides danger for anyone chasing you - and the hitbox is large, it hits quite a bit higher above him so its good for people like Tsu.

Awesome games man! I love me some Shiggy action 😂 he seems similar to bakugo, just fly up and rain down from above 😅 I really liked the strike version but it’s annoying not being able to get out of fights easily with his lack of movement, so I know I’m gonna love this one when I get him!

I’ve always heard if it’s water you straighten your legs and hold your arms close like so your feet can cut the water on impact
I'd try to tuck and roll, but at the same time I guess the guy's reasoning was that it's better to keep your legs intact than your back maybe
landing on your back while being as flat as possible evenly distributes the impact across your body, rather than all of it in one area. You should still try to cushion your head with your hands though, just so you don't break your neck or split you skull (or have a concussion)
Also nice tips i say some of those could be used on striker shigaraki too i normally lead my decay and try to block them off, if they approach i use his puddle.

I feel like even if the alpha lands on a wall or another surface, it should like disperse along it. it shouldn’t just waste your alpha

This new Shigaraki is so much fun to look at and to play with/as. I found an enemy Shigaraki that was throwing shit all the time, man, it was very annoying, but also makes the new quirk skill set look so much fun to use. He flies, he annoys, and deal slots of damage at more than one enemy at the same time. Maybe his cooldowns are too fast but at least he is still beatable. I would like to know who comes with this quirk skill sets because they are making characters with these pretty much more fun and easier to use, kinda like a pay to win but still beatable.

What are your setting
Me? I'm young so I can just tough it out by landing on my legs but I'd probably say sacrifice my forearms and protect my head as I land face down. That seems like the most expendable part to me.
if it's that high up, you're 100% hitting your head on the ground as well, so GGs

It is actually true what your friend said, the few people that have survived falling from terminal velocity from airplanes at max height in human history have said the best way to survive is to spread out your arms and legs in like basically the prominence burn pose like a star basically as far out as you can, it'll increase how much wind you're displacing slowing you. It's basically like being the exact opposite of a bullet or arrow, which are designed to be as aerodynamic as possible. You want to be as un...aerodynamic as possible? lol And then the back would be better because if you crush your sternum it'll probably pierce the heart or lung. You will still almost CERTAINLY DIE... but it is your best odds...
Now when it's like a 10-15ish foot drop, and you're not dealing with terminal velocity or wind resistance being a factor, then yeah legs would be better. You're basically choosing at that point if you'd rather live with broken legs but still live, or just die.
I level up B to max first, then G to 4, then A to 9. I have 95% success rate at surviving and dominating doing it this way.

@@Settanno I did, I love both. Strike Shig makes sure enemies are down quicker, but easier to get killed by people due to no mobility.

If i had to choose where i'd land. A man should try his legs, purely from experience i've fallen and hit my knees and it was a numbing sensation. I thought i would be paralysed forever but then i felt the pain and then i got to my feet sometime after, a grown man cried (I had fallen and could not get up).
But like try to land sitting down....
So how do you land on your back and not hit your head too?
that's what i'm thinking, from a certain height and above surely the impact would snap your head back
You almost have to use a compress mindset when aiming ur lobs ahead just without the bounce
On the story, i haven't fallen from many places. I don't recommend falling on your back though, me spine, me head, nah

You'd end up with a concussion if you land flat on your back. I'd try to land on my legs. The two most vital parts of your body are your head and your internal organs.

Gramps is trying to put you on game. In pro wrestling they teach you the best way to land on the mat is flat on your back with yours arms laid out and your chin tucked so you don't hit the back of your head. If you land on your legs you're going to shatter your ankles.
so if you were to fall down from a very high tree, you're opting to turn around and slam your back into the ground? isn't that gonna shatter your back and/or ribs instead - and probably cause your head to whip back from the impact and hit the ground anyway?
@@Settanno The back is the safer option due to your back muscles being a lot more durable than your other body parts. The comment above is also correct to protect your head and you being capable of damaging your ankles easily when always thinking to land on your feet first. Landing while bending both your knees are a decent way to add more weight to your entire legs for cushion, but shouldn’t be done at higher elevations.
i dunno boys, i'm seeing online that at mid-to-fatal heights, your best bet for survival is always to land as safe as possible on your legs or trying to side-tuck (or something) 😂 but if i ever find myself falling 20 feet in the future, i'll try to use what little time i have in the air to at least consider slamming my back against the ground instead 😂 interesting stuff tho

just a melee swipe which can either destroy breakable buildings/walls or hit someone for some damage and weaken their defense for a temporary amount of time

As a Shigaraki player myself (the original model) I dont have an issue with him jumping as it reflects the show. However, he should not be able to throw rock decays like he does, if he grabs you in the air...thats one thing...but to throw stuff at you in the air is silly....for that reason, he is OP and doesn't resemble the show. If he kept his normal abilities and just added his new dash/jump ability...that would be more reflective. As of now...he takes no skill to play.
Old man is both right and wrong. If it's water u want to fall vertical in proportion to ur velocity but if it is a solid surface then yes flat is better at a certain height/age. Reason for this is simple: u can lay down on a bed of nails and not get punctured due to distribution of weight but if u stand on the nails they will pierce u. If u fall flat the force of the impact will be evenly distributed through your entire body but if u fall on ur legs it with concentrate all the force on ur knees (which can lead to ur knees bursting through like a xenomorph). All that being said I'm falling like Madara, ten toes down, knees buckling, teeth clenched, face dead pan waiting for the pain.

With all due respect your tips are most definitely very helpful for new players or people tryna learn the new shigi but you're playing on one of the most docile console servers. Playstation has no challenge people don't sweat as hard as others do on pc and xbox on m.h.u.r trust me I've been playing since the ge dropped and held #1 agency and top 13 mvp for a month I could only wish to have lobbies as easy as those
