Those drawings in the abandoned shelter you found, I'm pretty sure are representing the "hain ceremony". It was a ritual of initiation for young men in the Selk'nam tribe which was a native indigenous tribe. They used body painting and horns like the ones in the drawing (not all the time, only for the ceremony).
True, they are the Selknam deidities...
I was about to say that. When you reach Ushuaia, make a stop at the local museum; the history of the tribe and the island is amazing (and sad).
The Garibaldi pass and dropping down to Ushuaia is very beautiful.

Ah, mate, I feel for you. A similar thing happened to my fiancé in Malaysia. When she was trying to leave the country the border agent asked her when/where she had entered. It was at the same airport a week earlier. Turns out they forgot to stamp her passport. They blamed her and told her it was her fault, they even threatened her with arrest. Luckily she kept her ticket stub from her inbound flight and they eventually let her leave, but she was shaken up by the whole thing. Even more of a nightmare if you can't physically check for the stamp! At least its just a fine and not a ban on re-entry like it would be in some countries.

You've crossed the strait of Magellan.
Those drawings are pictures of selk'nam people , the natives of Tierra del Fuego
Be careful with the roadside fields near the borders between Chile and Argentina in Tierra del Fuego, they used to be minefields (Chile and Argentina almost went to war several times in the 70s-80s-90s). The last time I went down there, there were still signs on the sides of the roads saying "beware: minefield." Since the 90s, both countries have been collaborating to demine the fields and in theory the work has already been completed. But a relative from Ushuaia told me that it is possible that some still remain unfound. Surely the ones that remain will be very buried and will not be close to the routes. This is not to alarm you or anything, it's just that since they took out the signs, many people are not aware of this and could venture into the fields without knowing it.
