Besides obvious hits here, I would like to point out a few stand out tracks, that I still listen to:
Imani Coppola - What a brilliant song!
Hanson's Weird is their best song, easily
    Metallica's Unforgiven II
    Bryan Adams - I'm ready
    Maria Nayler
This was a turning point in my life, I moved to another country in February 1998 and MTV UK was my only salvation that year! ❤

Hanson's Weird is the song that helped me come to terms with being LGBT.

I think I remembered that Sash is the only artist to have several top ten hits in various languages, although I don’t think he had a song in German, which is his first language, as he is from Germany 🇩🇪

Ah, late winter/early spring '98, the closing chapter of my first year at college. Bliss. In this compilation you can see the dying embers of Britpop start to fade and the start of the dance party that was the Millennium era (summer 1998 to summer 2001).

Hard to believe this was 26 years ago already. Where does the time fly? I was 13 enjoying these hits. Thank you so much 👍 I have a story about the late Aaron Carter's song. There was a girl in my class and someone mocked her bag. I sang 'Crazy Little Party Bag' 😂 She was not happy. Tracey if you're reading this, sorry. Sneaker Pimps were from my home city. Amazing how the Brits didn't take to Wes as the rest of Europe did. Jimmy Ray was a dish weren't he? I hope he aged well. Hurricane #1s song was used in an ad for a newspaper. Will Mellor is still a hunk even now. Casualty now gets less viewers than Eurovision semi-finals.
Very strong list of songs here. This was great times for music. I'd happily return back to the 1990s in a heartbeat. My top favourite on this extremely strong list is Madonna's 'Frozen'. A great comeback and the whole Earth Mother vibe suits this atmospheric and mysterious ballad. A true classic from one of her best albums. My other favourite is Robbie's classic 'Let Me Entertain You' - top tune. Too many to list as it's high standard of entries.

I really hated this mix of dance music and reggae music at the time, and I still hate it when I listen to it now lol
In the end music can be divided into two categories.
music that only remains as a memory of those days, and cool music that has an influence on today's younger generation.
