I guess then, we would have to take out part of the New Testament as well, part of the Sermon on the Mount, and other passages, where Jesus explains the heart and spirit of the Law! The Lord has opened my understanding in a greater way to this wonderful truth and parallel, and how the enemy tries and tries to remove the Law of God, because it is by it, our tutor, that we see our need for our Saviour! There's a program that was on TV some time back, and is mostly available on DVD, though it might occasionally be available on Cable or on demand around Christmas time that is called The Star of Bethlehem. Unfortunately, there are several video programs with the same title, and I can't remember who made the one I'm talking about, but it's definitely the best one out there. And it IS an astronomy based production that shows the skys at around the time of the birth of Jesus, and shows how the various constellations, planets and such move through the Hebrew Zodiac to predict the time and place of the birth of Jesus. It's really quite compelling, and I wonder if Chuck Missler ever got a chance to see it, and what he would have thought about it if he had. It seems like that particular video would be right down his alley. I know that in this video Chuck dismissed this type of evidence in preference for a completely different and supernatural "Star," but I could see both as being entirely possible, however I can't help but wonder if Chuck ever had a chance to see it. It's really worth watching it if you ever get a chance to.🙏✝️👑✝️🙏

Again, I don't know all the facts. In John 3:22, it shows that 'he tarried with them, and baptized.' Next, in John 3:23, it says that John was baptizing and they (Jesus and his disciples) 'came, and were baptized'. In John 1, it looks like the baptism was of the Holy Spirit. John 1:33 'And i knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost.' It looks like one event was baptism with the Holy Spirit and the other was baptism with water.

Jesus is the equivalent name in Greek. That's the way it was translated. Just like when you see the name God, it was translated from YHVH. I hope that helps.
