@Mark OnTheBlueRidge I think you have swallowed religion, look what its done to your brain. You are simply asserting gods, demons and the supernatural, without a trace of evidence.Science has questions that can't be answered, religion has answers that can't be questioned., so what is your evidence?, without spouting bible verses that is.

These so called preachers could be having an agenda of their own. This might help.
The Son of Man was a title Jesus used to show that he was fully human. This was necessary to be Adam's EQUAL in human perfection. This is so that Jesus could die in Adam's place and release the human family to enjoy everlasting life on earth as God purposed. (Romans 5:12,18, John 3:16).
Daniel in his prophecy calls the angel who was chosen for this mission as 'someone like a son of man'.
Daniel 7:13 “I kept watching in the visions of the night, and look! with the clouds of the heavens, SOMEONE LIKE A SON OF MAN was coming; and he gained access to the Ancient of Days (namely God), and they (the other angels) brought him up close before that One. 14 And to him there were given rulership, honor, and a kingdom, that the peoples, nations, and language groups should all serve him. His rulership is an everlasting rulership that will not pass away, and his kingdom will not be destroyed.
Jesus thus identified himself with the one spoken of in Daniel's prophecy.

and righteousness will be the scepter of your kingdom.
      You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness;
therefore God, your God, has set you above your companions by anointing you with the oil of joy.’
      “He also says,
‘In the beginning, O Lord, you laid the foundations of the earth,
and the heavens are the work of your hands.
      They will perish, but you remain;
they will all wear out like a garment,

Why would God say, “Let all the angels worship him” if he himself was an angel?
      And also:
“He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through him and for him. And he is before all things, and in him all things consist. And he is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things he may have the preeminence. For it pleased the Father that in him all the fullness should dwell, and by him to reconcile all things to Himself, by him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of his cross.”
      ~‭‭Colossians‬ ‭1:15-20‬
It explicitly says that he was before all things and that nothing was made except through him, including all thrones and dominions and principalities and powers. So how can Jesus be any of those things, then? And how could he be a created thing of heaven if through him all things of heaven were created?

    R. C. had such a marvelous gift in his manner of speaking. His delivery, cadence, enthusiasm and grasp of the scripture was truly inspiring. He had a great sense of humor and had the ability to make light of himself.
Listening to R.C. was so enjoyable. The sound of his voice had a soothing effect. I love the story where he said that someone made the comment (referring to R. C.'s teaching) that "he made the scriptures come alive".
R.C. responded by saying, "I can't make something come alive that's already alive."
That was R. C.. He was confident but humble. He knew who he was and he understood who the Creator was; a Holy God, a Just God, a God of limitless Power, a God of Mercy and Truth.

@TooMuchOnline how does it endorse slavery? Just because it is recorded in the Bible does not mean it is supported... there are also people murdering others, people messing around with multiple wives, but God never said “ya I condone this behavior”. You have to understand the context before you make ignorant remarks.

I'd begin how slavery really is portrayed in the Bible and outline the differences to what you've been spoon-fed, but I'm 100% sure it would be lost on you. If you actually cared about the subject, you could easily find a few articles or a book online that would give an accurate portrayal within the context of the era. It's best to do that quietly until you find a clue. 🤣 😂

@@sethsuleiman4419 Jesus is called Immanuel, which is translated "God with us." The prophet Isaiah (7:14) foretold His coming and we read the fulfillment of this prophecy in the book of Matthew 1:23. Jesus told the Pharisees "before Abraham was, I Am." This is the phrase God the Father used to define Himself when Moses asked who he should tell the Israelites who sent him (Exodus 3:14). The Pharisees took up stones to kill him for what they thought was blasphemy. They did not know Jesus is God who came to us in the flesh.
My friend, Jesus identified as God throughout His ministry in earth and He was written about numerous times in the Old Testament. He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. @@tongakhan230 jesus is fully human and fully God. I think you are trying to disprove that? Correct? I’m trying to understand your comment. If you are saying that Jesus was ONLY HUMAN, then your ideology makes no sense. What Bible are you reading? (serious question) I’m not sure if you are a Christian or not or how deep is your Christian theology but
The entire Old Testament is full of prophecies speaking of someone who will be born (human) who is also divine. Isaiah 40:3 “prepare the way of the LORD (YAHWEH); make straight in the desert a high at for our God”.
Now we ALL know that in the New Testament, John the Baptist made the way for who? Jesus Christ. So Isaiah prophesied of Jesus’s coming using the Name Yahweh (or Jehovah). We all know that the Father did not leave His throne to die on the cross for us. It was His Eternal Jesus who was sent but yet Isaiah called Him Yahweh…
      John 10:30
“I and the Father are one.”
      John 14:9
Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say, ‘Show us the Father’?
This was no mere human Isaiah was prophesying about.
Also, look at Isaiah 9:5 (my comments in parentheses)
“For unto us a Child is born, (100% human Jesus)
      Unto us a Son is given;
And the government will be upon His shoulder. (Oh- he is going to be more than a human, a ruler??)
And His Name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, MIGHTY GOD, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace” (Bingo,He is given the title GOD)
And there is plenty more scripture in the old testament prophesying of the God Man that would come.
And going back to the New Testament, just look at the life of Jesus. It’s pretty clear ….. No human can be sinless, but Jesus was. No human nor mere prophet can forgive sins but Jesus did. Jesus made so many divinity claims that absolutely no angel, no human no prophet could ever and has ever made.
The Bible is clear that Jesus is God who added to Himself a human nature. If you really seek truth you can look all that up on your own.
The purpose of this video was not to explain the divinity of Christ but to explain the title Son of Man. If you disagreed with His divinity then there is plenty of scriptures and videos/pastors/scholars that you can look into that will confirm to you that Jesus is God.
I pray the Father removes the vail from your eyes so that you may His Son for who He is. Eternal. As we know
“No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws them, and I will raise them up at the last day.” -Jesus Christ in John 6:44

It was after all of that, Daniel said, "...0ne like (a) son of man..." when speaking about his vision of the second Person of the Godhead. The title was obviously expressing His identification with mankind, reiterated clearly by what Philippians 2 communicates. Why else was His rarely used title: Emmanuel (God with us)?

      YaH is NOT a MAN
YaH is NOT the SON of MAN
PROVES this jesus, the “son of MAN” is NOT YaH as YaH is NOT the “son of MAN”

13 “I saw in the night visions,
and behold, with the clouds of heaven
there came one like a son of man,
and he came to the Ancient of Days
    and was presented before him.
14 And to him was given dominion

his dominion is an everlasting dominion,

The word "serve" used here in Dan 7:14 is the Aramaic word "pelach", which literally means to worship or pay reverence to. What's interesting is, every single time the word pelach is used in the Old Testament, it is with God as the object, never human beings. Just another really cool detail that shows that this Son of Man (Jesus Christ) is indeed totally and completely Divine, for only God can receive the worship implied by this unique word choice.

Jared Cruz : Actually Romans 1:3-4 explains that the son of man became the son of God via the resurrection of the dead.
Here's a little truth for you found among the Dead Sea Scrolls.
The Birth Of John The Baptist
It was in the days of Herod, King of Judea that a priest known as Zacharias.... And his wife Elizabeth we're found by God to be righteous and pure.... Thus keeping the Holy Law and its commandments to the letter. But they had no children, Elizabeth being barren and both well into the years of life.... Zacharias’ duty was to burn incense in the temple of the True God.... And it was at this time that an angel of the Lord appeared unto him saying: "Have no fear, Zacharias, for thy prayer has been heard and answered, for surely thy wife Elizabeth shall bear thee a son, even John, shalt thou call his name. And thou shalt have much gladness and rejoicing; for many shall welcome his birth; for John shall be great in the eyes of the Lord, and he shall eat no animal flesh, nor drink strong drink at any time; he being filled with the Holy Spirit, even from his very beginning, from his mother's womb. And for a certainty, many of the children of Israel shall he turn back to the True God of Love; for he shall be sent by HIM in the same spirit and power of Elias...To make ready a holy people prepared for the Lord.” ·· And Zacharias said unto the archangel Gabriel... "I am, old man, and my wife is old also, tell me, how is this to take place?" And Gabriel, one of the seven glories of the True God Eternal, spake unto Zacharias, informing him of his son to come. And it came to pass, after a time, that Elizabeth conceived.... Even a son as the angel foretold to be named John ...Now John in his coming manhood would be educated in the Holy Law of God, he being the promised forerunner and announcer of the holy Christ.
And it was in the sixth month that the holy Gabriel was again sent by God unto a certain place of Galilee to a virgin named Mary, espoused to a man of the royal line of David, whose name was Joseph. Now Joseph was holy and pure minded, skilled in the trade of woodworking and stone masonry. And Mary was gentle and kind, with a discerning mind and humble spirit before the Lord. Both were pronounced good and holy before God; and of them was Yeshua, who is called later the Christ or Messiah.
Thus Gabriel came unto Mary and said, "Behold, Mary, thou art highly favored of God, for the Motherhood of God is surely with thee; blessed art thou among women, for blessed will be the fruit of thy womb." And when Mary beheld the glorious angel of God, she was confused at his saying, and wondered what manner of salutation this should mean for her. But Gabriel understanding her mind, spake unto her saying, "Fear not, Mary, and be not troubled with your thinking, for thou hast found favour with God. For behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb and bring forth a holy child of the Most High, and He shall be great and shall be called a Son of the Highest Order. For a certainty the All-Eternal One shall give unto Him alone the very throne of his father David. And he shall rule over all the house of Jacob forever; and of His Kingdom there shall be no end, but it shall reign in peace eternal."
And Gabriel spake further unto her, "The Holy Spirit, even the Mother of Wisdom shall come upon Joseph, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee, O Mary, therefore also is that holy, which shall be born of thee, even Christ, the Child of God, and his name on earth shall be called Yeshua, for it is he that shall save the people from bondage to sin, even all those repenting and obeying His Holy Laws.
"Therefore, O Mary, ye shall eat no animal flesh, nor drink strong drink, for the holy child shall be consecrated unto the All- Eternal from its mother's womb, and neither animal flesh nor strong drink shall he eat or drink in any form, nor shall ever a razor touch his head." And the angel Gabriel spake further: "And behold, thy cousin Elizabeth, she hath also conceived a son in her womb, even of old age will she bring forth, this being the sixth month with her, she who was called barren. For, I say unto you, with God no thing shall ever be impossible." At that, Mary said, "Behold the handmaid of the Lord: be it unto me according to thy holy words."
And in the same day, the angel Gabriel appeared unto Joseph while he was asleep, and said unto him: "Hail, Joseph, thou art highly favored by God, for the Fatherhood of God is with thee this day. Blessed art thou among men and blessed be the fruit of thy loins." Joseph, his mind confused, wondered at these words, but Gabriel said unto him: "Fear not, Joseph, thou son of David....“For thou shalt beget a child, and thou shalt call his name Yeshua, for he alone shall save his people from bondage to sin."
Now for a certainty all this was said and done that it might be fulfilled which was written in the prophets saying, "Behold a Maiden shall conceive and be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and shall call his name Emmanuel, which means 'With us is God's Son." Thus Joseph being raised from his sleep did as Gabriel had told him, and went in unto Mary, his espoused bride, and she conceived in her womb the holy one of God.
Later, at the home of Elizabeth.... Mary said unto God, "My soul doth rejoice greatly in God's Son, my Savior. For thou hast regarded the humility of thy handmaiden; and, behold, from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed. For Thou that art mighty and powerful hast indeed done to me great things; for Holy is Thy Name and purpose, and Thy mercy is on them that respect Thee from generation to generation, even to eternity.... Thou hast exalted the humble and the meek, and hast remembered Abraham and thy seed forever." And Mary lived on with Elizabeth for three months and then returned to her own home.

This is supported in Phillipians 2:5-7, when Paul writes - " Have this attitude in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus, who, although He existed in the form of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied Himself, taking the form of a bond-servant, and being made in the likeness of men. Being found in appearance as a man , He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. For this reason also, God highly exalted Him..." Do you think its more of a reference to Daniel 7 and other old testament prophecies of "one like the son of a man"? I lean more towards this view. The 1st century Jews would most likely understand the term when Jesus uses it through their knowledge of the old testament prophecies. Jesus appeared to be pretty much telling them He is the one all those verses were referring to. The old testament prophecies referred to the "one like the son of man" as a most exalted mysterious figure with rulership over the whole earth. Our Lord Jesus was pretty much telling them, "I am that son of man"

What you said makes sense to me as well as the previous comment from “Bible Answers”. I don’t think this video was on the right track. One thing that sticks out to me. If the title Son of God denotes obedience to the Father then why were the fallen angels who mated with women, which caused the Nephilim, called sons of God? The title son of God appears to mean they don’t have an earthly father and we’re directly created by God but does not determine whether they are obedient or disobedient. Angels whether fallen or not would fit that definition. Adam was a son of God. Yeshua is the only Begotten son of God and He is also the 2nd Adam.

If I may provide my personal two cents.
We know from Genesis 6:4 it states "The sons of god came down to the daughters of men " and.. .essentially defiled the human race. Which gives us the book of enoch , and the stories of the nephilim. So... during the time of Jesus, when these stories of fallen angels mating with humans were more widely accepted... There was a need to distinguish himself from the fallen angels that came down before. What better way to do it than to appeal to the side of him that makes him one of us. A MAn.
A more interesting insignt I find is via the Jealousy we see in Satan towards Mankind. And How in the bible, God often refers to men and their nations as "Virgins" or "Whores." So clearly, we can see the type of relationship God wishes to have with humanity. It is that of a husband and wife relationship. A Marriage. Where the husband goes out and makes money, the wife stays in the house, and cares for the house and the children. Here we can see if God is the husband . Man is the wife. Then Jesus is BOTH, Son of God and Son of Man. However, it is clearly up to him, by which parent he chooses to refer himself too. God marries Mankind and has a Son. Son bene ha Adam.

Not only the “son of man” declaration, but the whole divine imagery Jesus used, that he will come on the clouds, sitting in the right hand of the Power. The son on man vision from Daniel was identified by the Jews themselves as a vision about the messiah, so for them , when Jesus told them “I am the son of man”, they understood “ I am the messiah, the King of Israel and of everything , anointed and enthroned by God”. What Jesus told them instead, was that he was divine and he would be sitting on the Throne of God with the Father. Claiming to be the Messiah wasn’t a crime for Jews but the opposite. Claiming to be divine though, was the worst crime of all. Blasphemy worthy of death.

Partially right. "Son of Man" as given in Daniel 7:13 is not ''Ben Adam.' You are correct.
      Here's what it is: בַ֥ר אֱנָ֖שׁ (H/A)
"Bar -Enosh" : the second letter of the earlier Hebrew Name given here (in later Heb. form ie Aram.) as אֱנָ֖שׁ is the letter 'nun' and not samek or tsadhe as your comment would have to suggest
Given the subject matter of Dan 7 and its period of writing, one would do well to draw a line straight to Enos (KJV transliteration) which is the greek form of "Enoch" from Genesis' earliest genealogies and so forth
In 8:13 when the angel Gabriel is directly addressing the prophet Daniel, he calls him בֶּן־אָדָ֔ם ie Bar-Adam. Son of Adam, or as the synecdoche "Son of Man."
      Interesting the distinction.
I wish more people would take the time to actually study these things themselves rather than relying on what others tell them. 😊

Genesis 6:4 "The Nephilim were on the earth in those days-and also afterward-when the sons of God went to the daughters of humans and had children by them...."
So I infer that before Noah, before Seth, there were many "sons of god" who defiled human women.
There were also other sons of god. Luke 3:38: "Which was the son of Enos, which was the son of Seth, which was the son of Adam, which was the son of God".
So Adam was also a son of god. And Adam defied the father by eating the forbidden fruit.

If your claim is true and Adam was intended to be the "only", then can you explain why the Father created other "sons of god" described in Genesis 6?
And Job 2 refers to "sons of god" who presented themselves to the LORD, along with Satan. This seems to imply that Satan is one of the "sons of god".
JOhn 1:12-13 seems to indicate that Jesus gave people the right to become "children of god" which also seems to contradict your "only Adam" claim.

One other note of interest here, Jesus and Ezekiel are the only two people in the Bible referred to as "son of man." Also, God laid iniquities upon both of them. Jesus, "Upon Him, He laid the iniquities of us all." Ezekiel, Chapter four, the iniquity of Israel and the iniquity of Judah, each for a specific number of days to stand for a specific number of years, were laid upon Ezekiel. There was no suggestion of divinity in Ezekiel's case, just a bearing of iniquity.

The Daniel reference makes sense to indeed but is there more to it? Mark 14:61-64 seals the attestation of the Son of Man being in the nature of God as that was enough reason for the highest religious figurehead in all of Israel to throw a fit, tear his robe, scream blasphemy and sentence Christ to death. In fact when He is asked,” Are you the Son of the Blessed?”, Jesus was quick to say,”I Am”

I speak through the experiences that I have had on this world and in higher regions. Jesus (Yasuah) has been my personal guide and teacher in a real sense. Every time that he appeared in a vision it was as a brother possessing human elements and the communication style of a teacher/ friend I have also been in the LIGHT/LOVE. Jesus showed us the path to true sonship by wholeheartedly choosing the WILL of GOD without any reservations or conditions. This choice should be made when you are in spirit (trance) with the conscious mind disengaged of circumvented. From that moment the untested created spirit sets upon the path to sonship ( through the narrow gate) and up the mountain that is composed of service to others NOT SERVATUDE but providing strength to those family members who are wavering. The focus of sonship must always be on selfless giving the essential nature of God. If the focus is on receiving and selfishness the service is to the deceiver dark side. It is what lies within the heart as your intention not necessarily an action. This nation has been deceived by the deception of the dark side. I was shown in a vision that there are very few willing to go through the narrow gate and the vast majority are following the golden road of deception being led by the trump.

Good teaching, but it’s common the quote from Daniel and over used by preachers: I actually think the KEY reason Yehoshua our Lord and Father used that term is not necessarily Daniel yes it’s correct too (corroborative evidence), but is back in the Beginning in Genesis... He liked to go back to Genesis as the sharp creatives of this world the Elon Musks etc say - back to first principles (they are correct except they rely on the tree of knowledge of good and evil)...which is also in the Beginning:
“And I will put eivah (kind of mixture of “animosity/envy/enmity”) between thee and HaIsha ( the Woman), and between thy zera and her Zera; it shall crush/strike thy rosh/head, and thou shalt strike His akev (heel).”
    ‭‭Bereshis‬ ‭3:15‬ ‭(OJB with my adaptation)
The Messiah is identifying with His ie God’s own promise! To be clear that He is not from Below (here) but from Above (Shomayim, Heaven)! Why? Because the race of Adam dies and is replaced by another race which is like the Ben HaAdam (Son of Man) which is those that are born again of water (mayim) and Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit) thus we retain the likeness of Man...ie: 2 silly legs instead for 4:), and or wings😜 sorry guys...!, but a body like God, like Spirit - not limited in its presence...which can fly (ok redemption for those keen of angels wings), but not with wings but by the Spirit (ruach, wind)....! This is what Yeshua explains to Rav Nakdimon in Yochanan chapter 3! The Big Kuhana in Jerusalema!
“In reply, Rebbe, Melech HaMoshiach said, Omein, omein, I say to you: unless someone is born of mayim he is not able to enter into the Malchut Hashem (Kingdom of God!)
‭‭Explaining to the young generation saying “How can you enter through glass unless if you are lit🔥, dude, only Light enters through glass period, you need to be Lit🔥)!

What do you guys think of this below:
Matthew began Jesus’ lineage with Abraham and named each father in 41 generations ending in Matthew 1:16: “And Jacob begat Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus, who is called Christ.” Joseph descended from David through his son Solomon. Matthew’s record of the lineage is unique in the fact that four women are included: Tamar, Rahab, Ruth, and Bathsheba. Bathsheba was not listed by her name but rather that she had been Uriah’s wife.
In the third chapter of Luke, the genealogy begins with Jesus, the son of Joseph, and follows his line back to Adam who was the first son of God.
But why is Gods name not there?

    • @TheKing-qz9wd
      @TheKing-qz9wd 4 ปีที่แล้ว

Because God is a spirit being and would never have a geneology the same way as you or I. Now making a body for His Son in a similar fashion to any normal human, that is where Jesus would have a genelogy. To keep the promise given to David that he would have a descendant on the throne of Israel, that is where Jesus would have a geneology. And to prove it is a body like a human body, we take the geneology to Adam who is the first human.

Both records trace Jesus ancestry to David. Matthew through his foster father Joseph and Luke through his father in law Heli (meaning his mother Mary). This proved that Jesus was indeed the son of David as prophesied.
      This might also help:

What you should know is that the very phrase "Son of God" is in direct contraction to the phrase "God the Son." The former is explicit in the Bible; the latter is entirely absent. And there's a reason why:" Yehovah says to my lord, sit at my right hand..."

The difference simply depends upon which aspect of jesus you were to refer to or even that he was referring to when speaking of himself. There was jesus as the physical manifestation of Gods word and there is jesus the spiritual being.

“Son of man” according to humans (in Ezekiel’s case ) was simply to mean as its stated “offspring of mankind” according to the flesh
I am for example a “Son of man” as we are sons and daughters of mankind
But in Jesus’s case he was referring back to what Daniel saw in his vision. The one coming on the clouds I.e. his inward nature.
While they’re the same title they aren’t synonymous. Note that the Pharisees knew what Jesus meant when he called himself the Son of Man, they weren’t going back to Ezekiel they were going back to Daniel. The understood the language here.
The Son of Man (the spirit/eternal Christ In heaven John 3:13) is who went to the heart of the earth, not the Son of God while all at the same time this is the same Jesus just in a different nature.
The Son of Man is the word of God, the power and wisdom of God and is the ARM of God who brought salvation see Isaiah 59:1 and 59:16.
This is “Arm” is the “Ladder” that Jacob saw in his vision in Genesis 8:28 and confirmed to be the Son of Man in John 1:51 by Jesus himself.
The Son of Man is the Christ who was before Abraham and by him (The Son) all things were made. He is the Word of God/Hand of God/God himself the actual “Son” which abideth forever
The mystery of the matter is why God would have it that he decided to use the same title that would refer to mere mortals to an immortal entity such as himself. In my understanding the “Son” is the savior and the “of Man” would make him the savior of Man.
The kicker is this, our inward nature is the true “Man”
Jesus did not come to save our flesh but our “inward man”. I.e our eternal form.
      Also,
You have to first understand that the “Son” in this case is not relating itself to any human but the Godhead. The Father sent his own arm(Word/Son) to save and then brought it back to himself when the work was complete.
You should tune into Apostle LC Mathis. I believe he has been given revelation from God pertaining to this subject!

@@jryuwah thank you for the detailed information. I have been saved by the blood of Jesus Christ of Nazareth and accepted Him as my Lord and Saviour more than two decades ago and yet through so many years of fasting myself thin, millions of prayers, letters written to God, studying His Word to from Genesis to Revelations more than 6 times now, requesting the assistance of His Holy Spirit, Parakletos/Ru'ach Hakodesh for spiritual interpretation and discernment so as to understand The Word by Divine Mentorship rather than mere human intellect, I still feel like a fool, a failure because I get what you're saying but there's a part of me that wishes certain titles weren't carried over into different interpretations. I've even asked God to take this part of me away so I can have more of Him. This part that wishes so much it would be written plainly. Up until today, it feels like how could Paul, Luke, Peter, Bartholomew them all speak in such poetic mystery. I keep regressing in memory to picture myself conversing with them and listening to their Wisdom and all I ever see is myself saying, "speak the way people CONVERSE NORMALLY!" And I understand that it's only revealed to those who seek, that it is plain for those who receive it through God's divinity. Which makes me feel like a complete tool. Like I've been forcing for nearly 20 years to be a Christian but others get it, they feel Him, they get Him, like you do. And I'm simply forcing to be righteous. Isn't there a reason why they're called the Chosen. Because Jesus chose them? Then I'd be selecting myself to be chosen and opposed to being selected.

      Of course my friend.
The book of Isaiah says this
“For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:”
No one ever gets the full understanding in one day it takes years sometimes. Im about to be 29 and I’m still getting understanding. But I hold true to the word that He that hungers and thirsts after righteousness will be saved. I believe that in your thirst for truth God will continue to give you understanding.
To give you something to consider about the “son of man” title
      Numbers 23:19
“God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent”
You see here that the word is essentially saying that God is not corrupt human flesh that lies and asks for forgiveness. The word doubles back and emphasizes that a mere mortal man is a “son of man”
I hope that gives some clarity on how there is a son of man that pertains to the flesh and a “The Son of Man” that is coming on the clouds. I’m not a scholar that understands why terminology transfers to different contexts but I let the Holy Spirit open my eyes to see that if Jesus says the Son of Man is coming on the clouds then he’s not talking about a human being born of a woman.
I also wanted to note that we truly don’t know to what extent the Apostles truly taught pertaining to doctrine. Like for instance, there’s no book that hones in Paul’s teaching on a particular biblical subject on a random Tuesday or Wednesday but I know for certain the apostles went into to DEEP teaching that could not be documented but still supported by the word. What the word says is God will give some apostles, deacons, pastors ect to function in the church all operating with varying levels of understanding.
I can guarantee you that there were MANY church members who needed help understanding the Godhead and had to have things broken down. This is why Paul would often send letters to struggling churches things like “I can’t feed you all meat because you’re still struggling with basic doctrine therefore you all still drink milk ect..”
I say Give apostle LC Mathis a try. You’re asking all the right questions. Open your Bible and follow his words and see if you can read what’s being said. As these last days continue God says the revelation will shine brighter and brighter.
Last thing I will say on the subject of being saved since I don’t know you on a personal level.
Have you repented of your sins and have been baptized in the Name of Jesus Christ like Acts 2:38 stated? If not I’d start there! Even myself in my adult age had to go back and obey those commands because all my life I would simply tell people “I’ve excepted Jesus” but never repented of my own specific sins that I knew to repent for nor was baptized in THAT Name . and after that my understanding of who God was came open a little more.
If you have, continue to seek God for understanding. Here a little, there a little. I promise you God will give you answers and you’ll be able to find those answers in the Word to confirm
I’ll definitely pray for you and your walk with Jesus a Christ.

God ADDRESSES Ezekiel as Son of Man.
Ezekiel 2:1 He then said to me: “SON OF MAN, stand up on your feet that I may speak with you.”
A chosen Angel is LIKENED to a Son of Man at Daniel 7:13,14.
Jesus applies that term ON HIMSELF (Matthew 20:28) to identify himself as that chosen angel.
      Remember Paul writing:
'To WHICH of the ANGELS did God say...' - Hebrews 1:5,13.
Humans too are sons of man.

Pity he reads the Daniel reference across to all instances of ‘son of man’, as it clearly doesn’t apply in most of them. Rather, the phase mostly builds on an Aramaic convention and is a circumlocution, effectively playing down Jesus identity. That’s why his use of the expression doesn’t draw controversy and conflict. Like he said at the beginning of his talk, read the scripture carefully. Good advice, though he didn’t observe it on this occasion.

In the Targum Ezekiel it is translated as Son of Adam. I find that telling since the lineage of Jesus through Mary foes all the way back to Son of Adam, Son of God.
I think it might be more properly translated in the NT as Son of Adam.

    • @AnHebrewChild
      @AnHebrewChild 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Except 'Son of Adam' would definitely be less correct as a NT rendering.
A'dam is used in the OT to denote the actual first man, named Adam', but also IN MORE PLACES used primarily to refer to all mankind ie all Adam's offspring. Most often this is translated in English versions as "man" or "mankind" or "humankind"
      Example:
GEN 9:6 Whoso sheddeth man's blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God made he man.
_A'dam_ is the Hebrew in all three instances of 'man' there.
Son of Man in the NT is υἱὸς τοῦ ἀνθρώπου which is Son of "anthropos". There is a way to write 'Adam' in the Greek but "anthropos" is not it. It is rather: Ἀδὰμ (eg Luke 3:38)
Anthropos in Greek means humankind (general "man") EDIT so υἱὸς τοῦ ἀνθρώπου which means son of ἀνθρώπου is rightly rendered "Son of man"
      Cheers

When God (Ram) sets in the West in autumn, the dove disappears from among us, following God into the South. When God comes back from the South (Habakkuk.,3. 3) and again rises with the Sun, the dove reappears among us. Thus, it was that the dove came to be the emblem of the Sun of Man (of the earth), and also of the Holy Ghost (Sun-wind of March = S.W. monsoon), because then these three all appear at the spring equinox together; and we cannot speak of any of them without thinking of the other two. If we speak of the Son of Man we speak of the luminary which gives light to the earth: if we speak of the Holy Ghost we speak of the spring monsoon; and if we speak of the heavenly (summer) Dove we equally speak of the spring, or the mild season of the year, when the Dove is with us. God, or the Sun in Aries, the Holy Ghost, or Zephyrus, and the Dove are all one, because they come simultaneously in spring, remain with us during summer, and depart together in autumn. They constitute a trinity in unity, as the three seasons are one in the year. "The Dove caught the first rays of the dawn and the last rays of the setting Sun." (Didron's Christ. Icon., p. 439.)
The six days/signs/months in Genesis one = Eve/Heaven/Female/Summer.
The six nights/signs/months in Genesis one = Adam/Earth/Male/Winter.
See Isaiah 47.3, where the savior sun, comes out of winter, not as a man (barren earth) but as a woman (nurture).

I'm no expert, but putting the dots together seems to bring to an interesting conclusion, analogous to one I myself have come up in other fields of life: that of the "communion" between humility and presumption.
I'll try to explain myself: as RC says in the last bit of the video, Jesus is actually claiming authority, so in a way that could be called "presumption" (but remove all negative aspects of the word we culturally associate with it, I'm not a native english speaker thus I don't currently know a better word to use, so I use this one and with I simply mean the following: knowing the positive sides of the position you claim to hold, knowing it's possibilities and what good it may bring. One has to remember that this word then is dependant on the point of view, on the standards in society, and so on. On the other hand, by "humility" I mean aknowledging the negative sides that come up with the position you claim to hold, or in this context the non-exclusivity of this position).
On the other hand, there's the phrase "you are the son of whom you obey" seems to imply that anybody can then be the Son of God, or the Son of Man and both at the same time: this could be called "humility" because it is an aknowledgement that you are not holding an exclusive position: as I said this facts are relative to a society which is imbued with evil and thus makes it seem like being so close to God is somehting exclusive and unaccessible, while if we all would accept "The Way of Things" we could live a better life all under God and at his side at the same time.
The point in trying to surpass God is that it is useless and also a contradiction: doing that would not bring upon who tries God's Wrath, but just a series of consequences that would make it seem like that: we have a need to translate our ideas and intuitions into words, but as many phylosophers said, we can get tricked by our own words, and trapped by them. For example, by picturing God as a king, we humanize God and thus with time fall under the false sensation that God may be a tyrant enforcing his rule, and thus fall prey to a series of self-fueling actions that only achieve getting further and further from God, somewhat like falling down, or better, giving up in reaching the peak of a mountain one is trying to climb.
Everything seems to point to the fact that we have the freedom of trying to get as near as God as we want, and also the freedom to sin: since all sins can be forgiven when one truly gets back on his way to God. So, as must be always remembered, God is actually there, although life situations may make it difficult to reach or see God, one can somehow always get back on the road to God. Instead, sinning is getting further from God, and that can be momentarily. Then compeltely giving up into sin is the decision of staying far from God, or worse the decision of getting further and further. And also that can always be reversed, but maybe the further from God, the harder is the way back. That is because pure evil doesn't exist, it lays there at infinity and thus however closer one tries to get to infinity, it will always be infinitely far from where one is.
The reason why pure evil doesn't exist, is that evil is a synonim of destruction, and so pure evil would be pure destruction, so what is pure destruction? Nothing. Literally, not a region of space devoid of matter, but a region of pure nothing. How could one ever achieve, then, pure nothing? It's impossible, even after destroying everything, one would be met with chaos all around him, but not nothing, and still even if one managed to reach nothing, that one would need to still be there. Basically, I'm just stating with different words that the state of complete inexistance is just contradictory and thus just a word we use that doesn't describe any reality.
As I said, God instead is there. And so much so that one can be there where God is too. We could say, that then one would be in harmony with everything, and thus God.
Often when talking of such stuff the way our words and logic works creates rotating loops: picture a vortex in a fluid that moves forward, and that movement is reality, while still rotating in on itself, and that rotation is "fictitious". If you know some maths and physics, check out the cycloid curve for motion in a bycycle: depending on different factors, it could be that a point that is moving forward momentarily also moves backwards, seeming to loose ground. That is what happens with words, the true meaning comes through but only while also rotating almost as if repeating itself.
One last thing: I think this pictures of thrones and kings is not appropriate to our current society: we now picture rulers as something that should not exist, almost like tyrants. That's probably another reason why today many misunderstand the messages of the Bible and Jusus and God. We are a bit closer to a better world then before, but with words we risk to refuse the guidelines to it!
I really needed this long "exhale" of my ideas. I hope what I tried to say comes through clear enough!
Please, if you don't like something, try to think about what I said with a lot of fantasy in your head, the way some words make me thing might not be the way the same words make you feel, and so it may seem we're not sharing the same idea, and instead we are. Also, with my words I'm just trying to make a picture of some of my ideas and intuitions, not absolute truths or anyting certain, so what I wrote should be read like if watching a very abstract painting, or read like if listening to a very free symphony that tries to convey certain feelings and images with its notes

Depending on translations, Adam or any other man is referred to as a “son of man” while Jesus is called the “Son of man” with a capital letter. But yeah I think there’s a difference between the two. Like one really refers to a normal man, the descendance of a man, while Jesus is referring to being the one the prophet Daniel saw in his vision. He is THE Son of man that was prophesied.

@@mikellaaa I dont think Daniel 7:13-14 are talking about Christ Himself, but about His Saints (LIKE THE SON OF MAN). See 7:27 in the interpretation of the vision.

@@mikellaaa No Get an Hebrew Interlinear. Dan 7:13 says "someone LIKE a son of man". Yes it refers to Jesus . The translator can capitalize or punctuate as he sees fit. Bias usually dictates.
