Nirvana Live on Nulle Part Ailleurs in Paris, France on February 4th, 1994 remixed with AI stems. This was Nirvana's second to last appearance on a TV show and the first stop of their In Utero European Tour. For the remix I increased and panned the guitars, evened out the bass, made some minor adjustments on the drums, evened out the vocals, and flipped the side of Dave Grohl's backing vocals to match the stage set up.

Yea, Dave was "the drummer" for this band for sure but I also love him doing harmonies with Kurt. They sound great together..
I think Kurt getting a shitty rental cable might've been the best thing to happen at any of their live preformances.

I do agree. I NEVER had seen Kurt with only using mic before. And I know I wasnxt the only one. I got this 3rd gen copy at 1998. This French TV-thing was bit special also because they had a permission to play Rape Me. It was the only country if I remember that right.

JFC Kurt is on fire. that moment near the end when drops the guitar in frustration and sings into the microphone. eyes blazing. voice screaming. 100% greatest of all time.
RIP Kurt. hard to believe he’d be gone in 2 months. seeing him perform with so much passion, makes it even harder to reconcile with his demise.

Crazy 5 days earlier Nirvana recorded "You Know You're Right" at Rober Lang Studio, North Seattle, WA. And then here they are playing In Paris France, two days before they start their European In Utero Tour.
This is why Kurt hired Pat. So he could dance and things like that.
And he’s the legendary guitar player that used to be in a band called germs!

Urgh, what completely moronic comments. Pat was punk rock, but not a legendary guitar player. He hired him because he was a good guy, and beefed up the sound, but he was so quiet on the mix.

Thanks for posting. I had never seen this performance only seen still pictures. I saw Nirvana live back in December 28, 1991 in Del Mar, Ca (San Diego). Opening acts were Pearl Jam. Then Nirvana then followed by the Red Hot Chilipeppers. NIRVANA stole the show for sure! Thanks for posting once again!
Amazing performance and probably the one and only time we could have a taste of what Kurt would be as a frontman only, without his guitar! It kind of made him more vulnerable and elevated the whole thing at the same time. Special stuff. Thanks so much for uploading!

Pat’s sound really did so much. They were way more dynamic when he joined. It gave Kurt much more freedom to perform, sing and play guitar

I loved Nirvana for how raw and real they were. It's of course saddest on a personal level that Kurt died so young but also the band leaving so early in their development. They were the best band of the 90s in my younger years. I'm glad to have had them here but wish they were around longer.
