Well now Liu Kang and Kung Lao were able to be stronger than Bo Rai Cho. By defeating Shang Tsung and Shao Khan, but they wouldn't have been able to do it had it have not been for Bo Rai Cho and Raiden.

Sleeping together is one thing. But a committed, genuinely loving relationship between the two only for Mileena to realistically end up betrayed honestly breaks my heart
Character development can be a thing. Tanya can have a history of betraying everyone under the sun *except* Mileena. I'm not big on second chances but it's possible to change. It would be really nice if they went forward with them and Tanya changes for Mileena.

I can’t believe you missed this: As far as the alleged affair between D’Vorah & KK, it’s been more or less confirmed if you look at D’Vorah’s list of moves, you’ll find “Kotal’s baby”. It’s pretty useless as far as moves go, I think it’s more for shock value and a wink that it happened for those seeking.

Li Mei. Li Mei fought in the Mortal Kombat in Deadly Alliance. She won and her prize was serving as the leader of the Dragon King army. Bo Rai Cho interpreted the process and got Li Mei out of danger. What happened to Li Mei was subtle. A part of the soldier soul that was loyal to Onaga stayed wither to Li Mei soul. That's why Li Mei has more armor in her costume and in her ending, she becomes loyal to Onaga.
@Cade Chatham speculation, bios, story mode, and uncanon endings. Li Mei ending in deadly Alliance has shown her being put into the final solider warriors of the Dragon King. Bo Rai Cho bio said how he saved Li Mei sacrifice to the Deadly Alliance. Li Mei has armor in deception. Her ending is her in love and loyal to Onaga. Literally came out of no where. Connecting the dots that's the most likely scenario. Her soul was tainted. She just wanted to save her village. She entered a mortal kombat tournament. She won but lost at the end.
Most depressing thing to me is that Mileena has always wanted to be properly loved and she tries to get it from wherever (dialogue between her and Kung-Jin, her wanting a proper relationship with Kitana,Her and Tanya being together and sm more).
I love the deception konquest music in the background. It definitely adds more character and feels mk like. Definitely made the video more fun to watch.
I have some terrifying facts. 1. Motaro was gonna kill Johnny Cage in MK9, if it wasn't for Raiden who saw a vision of that happening and saved Johnny at the last moment. 2. Mileena's victory pose in MK9 used to terrifye me as a child 3. If you fight Scorpion in Hell and kill him, he will just respawn behind you and continue attacking you. So, being stuck in the NetherRealm with Scorpion is one of the worst things that could happen to you in MK.
dunno if this is something thats helps but some believe bi han was destined to always die by scorpion in every timeline. no matter what. since he had no idea what quan chi has done he basically gets killed everytime by scorpion and to put salt in the wound he has to work as a wraith for the man that got him killed, quan chi.

I think I have two creepy things to add, Reptile’s fate was doomed from the start and how Johnny Cage nearly caused Earthrealm’s defeat to Shinnok. First off, Reptile’s race lives under a matriarchal rule where their Zetarran Queen allows them to remain human-like and stable. In MK 11’s krypt, there’s a blade that Shao Kahn used to slay the Zetarran Queen when he enslaved the entire race. Not only does that mean Reptile will slowly lose his insanity and human-like appearance but will eventually turn him into a mindless reptile since there’s no Zetarran royalty to keep him from his fate. This also includes both male and female Chameleon since we don’t know if they are from a royal lineage or alive. As for Johnny Cage nearly dooming Earthrealm, one of his interactions with Jax confirms that he had a vasectomy before he and Sonya had Cassie. That means if MK X had gone the same way without Cassie Cage, Shinnok would’ve won and conquered Earthrealm’s jinsei because Johnny Cage had his balls snipped in his early Hollywood career.
@@drivanradosivic1357 I mean there are a lot of character introductions that're not cannon but some either foreshadow, reference older events, or confirmed some things. For a while a lot of the MK X comic references were cannon until the comic series was removed from continuity but some interactions like Shang Tsung telling Lui Kang that he's back because Lui sent him back in time foreshadowed the Aftermath dlc.

I didn't even think of the Mileena ending, but a decisive factor on this is that trademark Tonya smirk. It isn't anything sweet like Tonya's head on Mileena's shoulder, this looks more consultatory than romantic.
I'd say Mileena's happy end is moreso disturbing because the only way she can achieve happiness is to reset time every single time she's hated and nearly killed by someone
I still believe that Mileena’s MK11 ending is still happy, because she’s can control time, and possibly made it so that Tanya is Loyal to her and won’t betray her.
I mean you’re not wrong but the question I have to ask is whether or not this was the first time she reset time. For comparison, Jax’s ending says that he ended American racism by resetting time countlessly until he got his perfect ending so for Mileena to get it done the first try doesn’t seem like it will go well. Let’s also not forget that she had to kill Kitana, permanently erase her existence, and replace her entire relationship with Lui Kang in order to have her ideal ending.

The Skarlet one isn't very surprising at all, considering we're talking Shao Kahn here. The one who thinks half the fun of being overlord is the ability to lean into leather daddy dom vibes as hard as he wants, with his collection of gladiator thongs for himself and dancer bikinis for his slave harem. The one who is most likely the standard for Outworld fashion choices while he's in power, meaning that Sindel, Kitana, Skarlet and Mileena are dressed exactly how he'd like them to be from MK 1-3 in either timeline. And, while we're talking about Mileena: She was custom designed to be Kahn's ideal daughter, minus the teeth defect. Mileena. *Everything* he wants in a daughter.
Mileena just looks identical to Kitana aside from her mouth. She dresses sexy to distract from her face. As for the fashion, Shao Kahn did not make anyone dress that way. The game developers designed him after Mad Max. Outworld is just behind technology wise. So they can’t make complex clothing. Plus, it’s a game and they want everything to have a medieval fantasy vibe. At any rate, Kahn never made anyone dress a certain way. He’s to busy trying to conquer realms to worry about dictating fashion…unless NRS is dumb and retcons that in the future

The main thrust of that point was that Mileena's behavior and mannerisms were what Shao Kahn got to tweak, and that's what he ultimately greenlit. D'vorah does have reasons to lie: -she has something to blackmail Kotal with --even gaslight him with, with the time shenanigans she could have claimed it happened in an alternate timeline or the future --if that works, Kotal is still a powerful man, both as kombatant and politically -she also gets power over Jade, even if not as much as over Kotal: she can claim Kotal is the guilty part and get him punished, making Jade trust her over him out of guilt and sympathy -in each game she has appeared, she has shown herself as a schemer and a backstabber, of course she'd like to get another ace up her hollow, bug-filled sleeve The only thing stopping her is the fact she is known as a schemer and a backstabber, so most people will call her bluff.

Another thing about the baraka sprite, it was also a nosferatu mask they modified. Also in mkx if you enhance bo'rai'cho vomit it gains a redish tint. Oh and I'm sure he's the only one to weaponize projectile vomit and farts because who else could possibly want to be that nasty?
I love it when I tell other MK fans that D'Vorah canonically got her cheeks clapped by Kotal. The immediately go through the 5 stages of grief every time. Side note, it also confirms that D'Vorah's cheeks are confirmed clappable

He can always have Shang Tsung make another of her. Kitana had it rough, but at least she had Jade and Sheeva to support her. Mileena quite literally has no one who actually gives a damn about her.

Ya know, in hindsight I'm surprised they never made it where Skarlet was added to the mix of the Kitana/Mileena rivalry. Like they could have easily had her take Mileena's place while she was dead.
I remember in MK Gold that Baraka was stapled up the middle. I heard that Kung Lao split him with his hat in the previous game, hence the staples. But unlike Jax's arms, the stapling did not stay Canon by his next game appearance.
Yeah. Because Tarkatans have a Wolverine-like healing factor, but Baraka's injury was so severe, he needed those staples to keep his body in place as he healed.

Actually using press on fake nails is a common trick used for making monster mask. It’s a form of movie magic so to speak, I know cause I work at a haunted house come October for Halloween and one trick we is to make monster mouths or this case Braaka’s mouth is tissue paper, latex, and cotton swabs or fake finger nails to act as the teeth.

Personally, I always thought Scarlet was just another champion for Shao Kahn. I didn't think he saw her as a daughter as that'd be a huge retcon. That also makes him sound more compassionate. He took in this orphan as a daughter not because she could be of use to him. Idk I could be wrong.
Call me crazy with a "K" but wasn't Scarlet's original backstory that she was created by Shao Khan by combining all the blood of Kombatans that fought in the MK tournaments? At least that's what I remember reading when MK9 came out? Another creepy though tho is that mileena was actually inspired by an old Chinese (I think its chinese) tale that had a woman who had been killed and had her face sliced open since her beauty was one of her most beloved trait when alive. Once dead, her ghost would lead young men into the forest with promises of love while she had her face covered. Once the men got close enough she would reveal her face which had a mouth that was ripped from ear to ear and would devour these men. Now that is both creepy and interesting.
Funny fact Bo Rai Cho is also the master of the Drunken Fist, a technique he himself perfected, hence why Raided sought him out to train Liu Kang and Kung Lao
In Mk9 after Shao Kahn reveals the truth to Kitanna she's in her default outfit,but once she's chained in his arena she's in her alternate which is more skin revealing. So Shao Kahn had his adopted daughter stripped. Kreepy.
Poor Bo Rai Cho... Going into history as a fart joke... This character could have been so awesome with gravity-based abilities, being able to turn himself very heavy or light, and also doing this to his enemies, making them so heavy they can't move. There is this character in X-men (Harry Leland or the Black Bishop) that has this same power, I think it suits a heavy-weight like Bo Rai Cho like a glove! Much better than farting and puking.

On either mk3 or umk3 I’m not sure which one there’s a sound file called “‘Tis the voice of the lobster” it’s very unsettling and creepy and it literally has nothing to do with mk there’s no reason for it to be there
I do believe tanya loves mileena. Tanya developed to have mixed feelings for mileena. Tanya always had considered to betray her. It's tanya treacherous nature. Her self preservation is her main priority. She freed mileena from prison in mkx. She may have made empty promises to both rain and mileena apart . She grew a strong bond with mileena though. Their relationship is distinctive. Tanya is possessive because she views mileena as her property & mileena is territorial because she feels tanya's company is her home. In mileena's ending. Mileena proves her loyalty to avenge tanya. She convinces tanya she is loved by bringing her back even though the majority of the other cast wouldn't otherwise. In a common way tanya freed mileena the same reason mileena revived tanya. Because it would hurt them both to lose each other.

Ок, let's think a little about Kitana and Liu Kang bond. Kitana lived thousands of years while Liu Kang is just young 20 year boy. Is that a kind of kid molestation? Imagine the difference between young guy and immortal women lived more than thousand years. It is much bigger than one between a 5 year boy and an old man. He know nothing outside of his alma mater while she is older than most of governments on Earth.
Technically anyone over 18 is responsible for their own relationships, regardless of how much older their partner is. However, here is an even creepier question lol: Do Edenians live longer or just age slower? Kitana looks the same age as Liu Kang. So did she spend 500 years as a baby and just age slower? That is a scary thought xD

I saw more loneliness from her ending than love. Idk it just felt like her inner thoughts were screaming "Someone love me". I didn't put too much thought into Tayna being there until I looked at it again. Plus the dead body being dead took up more my attention too b/c...you know, it's a body hanging from chains AND being fed to Mini Melena.

The way I interpreted the ending, Tomas is the demon himself: the ritual that was intended to summon some demon, but instead turned the sacrificed boy into one. I may be wrong though.

Mileena is my favorite character and the writing (and the shippers) framing her relationship with Tanya as a joyous, happy thing due to her ending always rubbed me the wrong way just because of Tanya's history of betraying people. Sleeping together is one thing. But a committed, genuinely loving relationship between the two only for Mileena to realistically end up betrayed honestly breaks my heart
Character development can be a thing. Tanya can have a history of betraying everyone under the sun *except* Mileena. I'm not big on second chances but it's possible to change. It would be really nice if they went forward with them and Tanya changes for Mileena.

Bo Rai Cho interpreted the process and got Li Mei out of danger. What happened to Li Mei was subtle. A part of the soldier soul that was loyal to Onaga stayed wither to Li Mei soul.
That's why Li Mei has more armor in her costume and in her ending, she becomes loyal to Onaga.
I did consider adding that to my list! But I am saving it for a possible part 2 ;)

I think I have two creepy things to add, Reptile’s fate was doomed from the start and how Johnny Cage nearly caused Earthrealm’s defeat to Shinnok.
First off, Reptile’s race lives under a matriarchal rule where their Zetarran Queen allows them to remain human-like and stable. In MK 11’s krypt, there’s a blade that Shao Kahn used to slay the Zetarran Queen when he enslaved the entire race. Not only does that mean Reptile will slowly lose his insanity and human-like appearance but will eventually turn him into a mindless reptile since there’s no Zetarran royalty to keep him from his fate. This also includes both male and female Chameleon since we don’t know if they are from a royal lineage or alive.
As for Johnny Cage nearly dooming Earthrealm, one of his interactions with Jax confirms that he had a vasectomy before he and Sonya had Cassie. That means if MK X had gone the same way without Cassie Cage, Shinnok would’ve won and conquered Earthrealm’s jinsei because Johnny Cage had his balls snipped in his early Hollywood career.

For a while a lot of the MK X comic references were cannon until the comic series was removed from continuity but some interactions like Shang Tsung telling Lui Kang that he's back because Lui sent him back in time foreshadowed the Aftermath dlc.

Let’s also not forget that she had to kill Kitana, permanently erase her existence, and replace her entire relationship with Lui Kang in order to have her ideal ending.

-she has something to blackmail Kotal with
--even gaslight him with, with the time shenanigans she could have claimed it happened in an alternate timeline or the future
--if that works, Kotal is still a powerful man, both as kombatant and politically
-she also gets power over Jade, even if not as much as over Kotal: she can claim Kotal is the guilty part and get him punished, making Jade trust her over him out of guilt and sympathy
-in each game she has appeared, she has shown herself as a schemer and a backstabber, of course she'd like to get another ace up her hollow, bug-filled sleeve

Personally, I always thought Scarlet was just another champion for Shao Kahn. I didn't think he saw her as a daughter as that'd be a huge retcon. That also makes him sound more compassionate. He took in this orphan as a daughter not because she could be of use to him. Idk I could be wrong.
Call me crazy with a "K" but wasn't Scarlet's original backstory that she was created by Shao Khan by combining all the blood of Kombatans that fought in the MK tournaments? At least that's what I remember reading when MK9 came out? Another creepy though tho is that mileena was actually inspired by an old Chinese (I think its chinese) tale that had a woman who had been killed and had her face sliced open since her beauty was one of her most beloved trait when alive. Once dead, her ghost would lead young men into the forest with promises of love while she had her face covered. Once the men got close enough she would reveal her face which had a mouth that was ripped from ear to ear and would devour these men. Now that is both creepy and interesting.

In Mk9 after Shao Kahn reveals the truth to Kitanna she's in her default outfit,but once she's chained in his arena she's in her alternate which is more skin revealing. So Shao Kahn had his adopted daughter stripped. Kreepy.

I liked this video. The creep factor of Mortal Kombat has always been one of my favorite things about the game.
Poor Bo Rai Cho... Going into history as a fart joke... This character could have been so awesome with gravity-based abilities, being able to turn himself very heavy or light, and also doing this to his enemies, making them so heavy they can't move. There is this character in X-men (Harry Leland or the Black Bishop) that has this same power, I think it suits a heavy-weight like Bo Rai Cho like a glove! Much better than farting and puking.

I do believe tanya loves mileena. Tanya developed to have mixed feelings for mileena. Tanya always had considered to betray her. It's tanya treacherous nature. Her self preservation is her main priority. She freed mileena from prison in mkx. She may have made empty promises to both rain and mileena apart . She grew a strong bond with mileena though. Their relationship is distinctive. Tanya is possessive because she views mileena as her property & mileena is territorial because she feels tanya's company is her home. In mileena's ending. Mileena proves her loyalty to avenge tanya. She convinces tanya she is loved by bringing her back even though the majority of the other cast wouldn't otherwise. In a common way tanya freed mileena the same reason mileena revived tanya. Because it would hurt them both to lose each other.

The girl needs SOME type of love after constant rejection. I like seeing the calm side to her. After looking into the games, I like her better with Tanya than Baraka and those two have the same DNA. I saw more loneliness from her ending than love. Idk it just felt like her inner thoughts were screaming "Someone love me". I didn't put too much thought into Tayna being there until I looked at it again. Plus the dead body being dead took up more my attention too b/c...you know, it's a body hanging from chains AND being fed to Mini Melena.

The way I interpreted the ending, Tomas is the demon himself: the ritual that was intended to summon some demon, but instead turned the sacrificed boy into one. I may be wrong though.
