Yankees slightly improved their bull pen. Got Leiter and moved Ferguson. So ww swapped out one middle inning guy for another who is MAYBE better? Maybe at least he'll be better after Blake works on him. Ferguson was only OK after Blake's help.
Trade deadline is done. Yankees did... very little. They added in the areas we need most, bull pen and infield, but not really much of an upgrade over what we have. We got a 2nd baseman we're moving to 3rd and hoping he can play well there with his slightly above average bat. That's a big improvement on DJ. Not exactly enough to excite me, but it is an improvement. And we got 2 mediocre relievers and dealt away one mediocre reliever. So if Blake can improve them, that could be a thing. But there's no real sign that it will be, just a chance. Not exactly Fairbanks and Diaz.

Don't get me wrong I love Jomboy! But they've always hated on jazz chisolm jr so much! Jomboy said jazz is just an average player and doesn't do anything above average. Also Jomboy has always talked about Jazz going on "the pivot" podcast when jazz was saying he was mistreated by the vets, aka miggy rojas. Miggy cut up jazzs special custom Jordan cleats because miggy thought they were ugly. That's so fucked up! I know the league loves miggy and miggy has had a good last few months for the dodgers but we weren't there in the Miami clubhouse and dugout. So we can't say what happened and we definitely can't tell jazz he is wrong for how he feels. If anybody cut my custom Jordan cleats up I'd be fighting mad. But anyways now that Jazz is in New York playing for the Yankees Jomboy is all the sudden changing his tune on Jazz. Maybe it was just a popular thing to hate on Jazz and Jomboy knew other players who watch would like the fact that Jomboy was talking shit about Jazz. Jazz is definitely an above average player. He's definitely different but I love his fashion style and his style of play. He brings excitement and fun to the game. And with his first two games down in New York he's got 2 homeruns. And it seems like judge and Soto love him. I'm excited to see what the future holds for Jazz! And Jomboy don't just hate on a player because it's the popular thing to do. Be original and come up with your own opinions! I'm glad you're giving Jazz a chance but I don't think the hate you spewed his way was warranted. I don't think you watched many Jazz games for the marlins and you were just repeating the narrative that tons of players have been saying all year since the pivot podcast. Also him being on "the show" was not his choice. Even if it was manipulated by jeter every single mlb player would have done exactly what Jazz did even if the were batting under .200 with horrible defense. You can't be mad at Jazz because he got that offered the option to do it and he took it! Good for Jazz! Keep playing good Jazz!
