Yeah, sweet play. I can't possibly claim that I would have thought of Loretta first but as soon as he said it, I knew it was a great pick... I had MLB 2005 for PS2 and Loretta was a beast to play against. His double play partner was a guy named Khalil Greene who I thought was gonna be the next great at the position. Greene ended up decent for a few years, but I honestly thought we might be looking at the next Nomar.
I love how excited Lucas is when someone makes a good pick, but even more than that, I love how you can tell how much Lucas enjoys twisting the knife when they guess wrong.
@lelandbailey8657 idk he got the accolades but his stats fall short compared to others due to shortened career. Some of those voters only care about milestones.
@@WalkoffGrandslam Twins fan here. With Mauer being a first ballot guy, I can’t imagine they’ll keep Posey out. I’d argue his accolades and being a phenomenally well rounded catcher more than make up for the lack of counting stats. He should be a first ballot guy!
Would love to see a Win draft (pitchers). For batters, Walks would be a weird one. Overall WAR draft would be like a cool championship/finale draft, could do a full lineup of pitchers/hitters.
"They're talking about [Mark Loretta] like I named some dude from 1920." Which is funny, because 1920 is a year where you had not one, but two absolute beasts when it comes to second basemen getting hits: Rogers Hornsby and Eddie Collins.

Okay finally... NL West. I've got this. Just starting the video now - we'll see how I do. Well I pretty much just used my Rockies over the years, but I did come up with Posey immediately. I missed on Todd Helton's and Holliday's best seasons tho by one! I got all the others.... especially CarGo's. I also had M Kemp - before they said it. lol I don't do math. So...........
What's stopping them from getting more of the top answers is that a lot of their guesses come from the 2010s and 2020s, while a lot of the best hitting seasons come from the 2000s because the spike in leaguewide home run rate has led to a decline in batting average. They're still doing better than I would though.

Which Tony Gwynn season should they have taken? His 2000, when he had 41 hits, or 2001, when he had 33? His last good season was '99 and his last elite season was '97.
Pulling Mark Loretta is like playing a reverse Uno card you just drew. So satisfying, well done Ryan!
That was insane to watch.
I love it. Was on my Astros team growing up. He was a pinch hitter behind Kazuo Matsui 😂
I remember when he came up with my Brewers

Absolutely love having Ryan Cohen with the SD deep cuts and representation. So amazing
I wish that you read out the best possible lineup to see their reaction to 2001 Rich Aurilia being the #1 SS.
Rich Aurilia is my guy!
As someone from SD, I love y’all having Ryan as a part of the crew. Also love him reppin’ the Captain Keno’s hat….iykyk!

Absolutely love Ryan. Great addition to the gang
life is better when ryan cohen wins
so fucking real
5:18 “i don’t read the jersey, i just rep it” such a great line from dalton😂
That Loretta pull explains how I knew Ryan would win before the video started. He’s already a sicko and on top of that a padres fan, super impressive.
The Italian resteraunt Loretta's bit was gold. Also some crazy and great picks in this one.
this is the best trio for this game
Jake is great too. Lucas as well. Joez is always entertaining. Basically anyone but Shelfy.
Posey was built different. I think he deserves HOF.
Posey will be in the HOF pretty comfortably.

NEED that war draft
Those early 2000s Giants were sick. Kent should’ve been drafted, Aurillia #1 shortstop, plus they did also have that Barry Bonds guy on the team
And Jason Schmidt!
@@lelandbailey8657 Robb Nen. Benito Santiago. Loaded
Dusty pulled Russ Ortiz too early in game 6, then compounded that mistake by starting Livan in game 7 over Woody.
@@BeatLA24Painful memories
I love seeing Ryan domination
“I don’t read the jersey, I just rep it” is an absolute BAR from Dalton
Shades of "we didn't come to dominate, we came to take over"
Luis Gonzalez 2001 is always slept on
I remember going to Petco Park as a kid and seeing Mark Loretta come up to bat. Stuck in my brain because he used "Low Rider" as his walkup music
Dalton’s “FUCK” is the same as I’d imagine Mr. Crocker to scream it
i’ve seen a comment about it before, but doing a 2020 draft would be so fun!
Ryan Cohen is the people’s champ
We need a mini camera on the host here. Especially if he's going to be this involved.

if you close your eyes Ryan sounds half like Jack Doyle and half like Lucas
Dude I wasnt watching when I put the video on and I was like ????? Is that Jack or Lucas??? No lie😳
To the majority of the JM crew, 2004 might as well be 1920.
I love Ryan’s mustache
After a couple of videos, I am a Ryan Cohen fan!
draft vids are always great!
Do a walks draft. I think that would be tough but very fun
That "didn't ask" was so hilariously quickfire
I would love to talk shit with Ryan as a diehard dodger fan. He feels like a cool padre fan love the friendly banter with the padre guys
Always love these videos. Keep up the great work!
Rich Aurilia 2001 is always a good pick for the offense drafts in the NL West
200+ hits and 37 HR's that year. I was hoping one of them would have said his name.

Do a hits draft for pitchers ! Or most bunts something fun!!
Russel Martin at catcher would’ve made me so much happier than the Will Smith pick. Martin is overlooked too much when it comes to dodgers catchers
Kudos on the Loretta pull

Jolly’s Italian accent is ELITE lmao
Was waiting for one of u to pick an Astro
2:27 well done
Todd Helton slipping was crazy
Can we get fantasy updates?
How about a Total Bases draft?
Ryan vs Lucas NL West Draft
Rich Aurilia, damn. 2001 SF WS team
SF didn't have a WS team in '01 (that was Dalton's snakes), although Aurilia did have a great season that year.
7 mins in and nobody has taken an early 2000s Helton season?! Come on!!!
Picking a Giants 2B from a championship year that wasn't 2012 Marco Scutaro.
Preston Wilson, Vinny Castilla 2003, Luis gonzalez 2001 🤔
Mark Loretta UNDERRATED

That Mark Loretta pull was disgusting
can we see the "LEAST" Amount. or high ERA!
Missed a good SS with ‘01 Rich Aurilia
I was just surprised nobody picked Helton lol
Mark loretta pull is wild..you get an auto win for that
Mind you mookies 179 hits and 96 walks combined would only BARELY beat out ichiros 262 hits alone. If you add ichiros walks, thats 311.

Brewer legend Mark Loretta
Haven't yet watched the video. If Wil Myers gets chosen (Padres) I decree that player to be the winner regardless of score.
I have now watched the video. Wil Myers not mentioned at all. I now return to the shadows.
Can't believe nobody to '58 Willie Mays...
Bro 2000 Jeff Kent was a sleeper, could’ve helped jolly
The best picks come out when you know ya already lost. 2005 Brian Giles.
Can Jolly do a 3 peat?
Nope
Nick Cass reference!
I can’t believe that no one mentioned Tony Gwynn.
Which Tony Gwynn season should they have taken? His 2000, when he had 41 hits, or 2001, when he had 33? His last good season was '99 and his last elite season was '97.
Aesthetically, not having Jolly in the middle to break up the pink shirt boys, absolute mess.
thank god someone picked 2016 Jean Segura
Garrett Atkins 2006
Dalton with the Billy Joel reference
Joe Mauer 2009, better be first AL central pick along with Mourneu 2011
Mauer is good but better to take a 200+ hit season. Mourneu with his 60 hits in 2011
How is no one taking 2000 Todd Helton or 07 Matt Holliday???
Mark Loretta wasn’t bad with the red sox
97 walker/gwynn, 00 helton wtffff
Whats funny is i have a local pizza place called LaRosa's
Did LeMahieu have 142 or 147 hits??
2000 Jeff Kent
2006 Rafael Furcal was my only good pull
2006 Khalil Greene
How did nobody pick Pujols?
When did Pujols play in the NL West? Not counting that partial season as a bench guy for the Dodgers?
Ay yo? 2:29
