The Rutles was a wonderful send-up, and Death Cab For Cutie was a good addition to Magical Mystery Tour, which should have been better conceived and scripted.

I love all those bands, but it was clever of the Dog to send them up.) But NOTHING like Penny Lane, but a lot like some of The Zombies', Hollies' and other poppy psychedelic stuff from '67. If Innes was trying to send up Penny Lane, he missed. "Sometimes you just can't win."
