*GW2 should have continued the hyper-realism theme it was meant to be. Battle For Neighborville was a childish mess, but Garden Warfare was edgy, detailed and humorous. It felt like Call of Duty with Potato Mines and Dolphin Guns*

Yeah but I wouldn’t say gw1 is more realistic, it’s just more detailed. Gw2 used the exact same models for the returning gw1 characters but gave them flatter less detailed textures which made them look a lot more toy-like in some ways. Battle for Neighbourville kinda feels like they just scrambled together the existing elements from that cancelled adventure game popcap was making and they designed the new artstyle around that. I also don’t like how bfn also reused animations and models for characters that clearly don’t fit bfn’s design language, some examples being the yeti,torchwood and gargantuanuar. Plus some of the zombie designs give me hives. Another thing whilst we’re still discussing the art styles of games I would definitely say gw1 had the best colour palette being vibrant whilst not being artificial or plasticky.

The S.W.A.T. zombie could have worked as an "armored" variant for the zombies with a bit more health, slower movement speed and a bit of a reduced jump than the base foot soldier, give him either a shotgun with 8 rounds or an automatic assault rifle like a "Z-2 or Z-1.5 assault blaster" with an ammo count of 15 that could be increased to 20 with the upgrade, and do a bit more damage than the base foot soldier, but with the same damage falloff
