This is so cool! My To Do list in the morning looks like this. 1. Meditate, 2. Eat the frog, 3. Exercise. I put the hard scary growth thing between the two familiars, meditation and exercise and it feels less scary. 🥰
I opened the video to save to 'watch later' folder and saw your comment . I'm gonna watch it all now 😂... Okay .. This video gives 10 min strategy as if everyone's work is done on the desk or infront of computer. This 10 minute strategy don't realky work if you need to get out on the road or field 🤣
Every morning, I procrastinate on everything and have no energy. I feel like going back to sleep, but just doing something for 10 minutes can help me. It literally makes a difference.
Love you Marie!!! Used to watch you what…. Like over a decade now?! 🤯 so crazy to think about!! Even _crazier_ to think you’re almost at a million subscribers!! Anytime I ever catch a video, they’re always the best still to this day. Just wanted to send you some love cause you’ve gotten me through some really hard stuff with your very easy, practical advice ♥️ hope you’re doing amazing!!
This is so sweet of you to say. THANK YOU for being here from the beginning - we often reminisce about the brick wall background on Team Forleo. We've all come a long way. Cheers to you and sending so much love!
When overwhelmed with tasks, I used to say to myself, "Just chip at the boulder." Don't look up; look down. Rather than attempting to figure what was the priority order, just start with whatever is in front of me at this moment, or is easy, or something random - whatever. It was just to get started on something. After a little while, I'd find I could think clearer. If something else was more important, then I pivoted to it. And I had still made progress on something already. So much better than fussing in a rut with no progress on anything.
Thank you! ☺I needed this today as I have done everything this morning except what I have been putting off for too long. Not sharing how long because it's actually embarrassing how long.
I need this right at this moment. Very good advice indeed, and I'll be doing this tomorrow morning with something that I have been procrastinating on. Thanks so much Marie!
It's not rocket science, just setting good habits and staying focused on goals that are good for you. The question for most people is why do all of the things considered "productive" for a hopeless future if you believe it is truly hopeless? The deeper questions are never resolved with surface level actions.
Great tip for some, but this doesn’t really make sense to me- if my most important task is something related to my job at the office, I’m not doing that first thing, because it’s at the office. This sounds like great advice to some privileged freelance writer or influencer, but I’m not sure this works for everyone. Or I guess if you have a self-improvement goal it can work, but maybe you don’t identify the task as the most important thing. I’m also not convinced screen time is the measurement of procrastination. When I was in school, for example, I’d do household tasks that didn’t need to be done in that moment as a means of procrastinating on studying, or writing a paper, etc. Was it a more “productive” way to procrastinate? I guess, but it is still procrastinating nonetheless.
Yessss totally tuned into procrastination when it’s intuition! 🙌🙌 It was easy to follow when running my own business but harder being back in the corporate world. Still want to follow it but hard to justify to others 😆 will try this 10-min tip out today!
Wahoo! Let us know how it goes. It can be a challenge to work within the confines of someone else's schedule - you're absolutely right. You've got this!
Sometimes I just start. I opened a drawer looking for something, and in minutes, the drawer was clean! The pile of junk went into the trash and keepers went into their new place. Now I need to work on 2 kitchen cupboards.
Look at you go, Karen! You're right - sometimes it's easy for us to forget that any step forward is a step in the right direction (and a necessary step to achieving our goals). Keep it up! ⭐

We can get behind that sandwich, Emily. 🥪
Prepping the night before seems like a small habit, but it can really make a difference in staying focused.
You've got it, Collin. 😄
So I shouldn't save this to watch later..?? Who am I kidding? I already have 😅😅
😂😂😂😂
Me too 😂
