- Hey Horse Lovers! This was a BUSY, CHAOTIC NIGHT at Free Spirit Equestrian! We have a BIG rainstorm coming in and we have to prep for 10 horses PLUS ALL of our hay arrived last minute! Luckily, Kyle was there to help and speed up the prepping process. In this video I will show you how I manage my horse farm and my 10 horses in inclement weather. I will talk to you about how I go about my day-to-day life as a full time equestrian and share some of my tips and tricks regarding horse care. You will feel like you're right here with us. I'm in agreement with Kyle, Ariel is special, so incredibly beautiful, and how much she's improved since you got her shows your trust and bond is something special.
To me there are few things in this world as cozy as a nice barn with horses happily munching during a rainstorm... it is just a whole different level of peace!!

They are like 2 kids running to mamma both out of fear and fun with that weather. Both are beauties inside and out, but Ezzy does does boss Ariel a bit. Typical siblings (I know they aren't blood related, but are like sisters).❤

Wasn’t that adorable? We actually get a really good deal on our hay. We personally know both farmers and they are 5 min away from us.
It seems you’re close to everything lol. In one video you mentioned being five minutes from a supply store, five minutes from Belle, five minutes when heading to a trail I think… sounds convenient!

Im so glad you keep the horses to run in shelter ratio in perspective! Ive been at 1 barn that has ZERO shelters and the horses are stalled whenever it rains. Even if it rains for a week straight, they are inside and I hated that.

If you are actually looking at properties currently, I would love for you to make videos of your searches so we can see what you see, and hear why a given property is a “no” for you and Kyle. And eventually, there would hopefully be : this might be the one! I don’t know if anyone else would find this interesting…..

Both foals have always been beautiful. Now, Ariel will most definitely need ALOT of consistency and work. I feel she’s become a normal; but very naughty-sassy foal. Shes’s always shown to us her ‘entitled’ bossy mare tendencies because she’s had the protection from her mother. Might be a good idea to consider finding a 1-3 month temp. boarding situation in an established larger mare herd nearby to assist on herd boundaries. During that time, Shea could focus on Ezzy’s ground training, independence and confidence building before Ariel returns.

Gosh! I wish you could share some of that rain with us! We haven't had rain in nearly 4 weeks, and we're in New Hampshire. The North Woods/White Mountains got nailed with storms last night, but we got nothing - again. Fun contrast, watching the tractor drive into the barn with hay bales under the chandelier! lol

Oh, the logistics of getting everything needed done before the heavy rain arrived. You sure are organized! Ariel and Ezzy sure are getting big, and I love how they and the other horses come when you call them. That's a testament to how much they all love you! I really enjoyed this video!
