When i saw the ending, i legit thought zack had his death sentence delivered and that rachel truly snapped when learning that, fully falling into madness
Thank you, after finishing the series I was really confused with all the building and testing stuff (probably because I finished the series in a day) but after this it really cleared up some stuff. I know this show is not perfect but a enjoyable watch yet this video really brings out the good in the series that seems to fog my vision. Thank you

I liked this anime, the last episode was a bit of a miss for me though. 7.5/10 for me. Seperating bakugo from Zack was hard for me too but fortunately he stopped screaming like bakugo after like the 4th episode so it became easier.
this was inspired by a rpg maker game by the same name. having experienced that first. i can say without a doubt it was a superior experience. much less obvious what is going on without the anime into that spoils things. also in anime form makes you realize how lacking in depth the game is. still loved it.
@@dayvox6496 i saw it on Twitter a while back according to a comic/manga interview the creator Makoto Sanada said they're not dead but still on the run. Unfortunately there was no link because the interview was in the manga so you gotta buy the English mangas to read the interview. Unfortunately they're not planning on a season 2 because they don't have much to work with.
@@Catro1000 That wasn't Makoto who said that. It was Naduka, the artist for the manga who said they would like to believe Zack and Rachel had a happy ending. It was their opinion on the open ending and nothing was ever confirmed a canon ending. If you don't believe me look back at the afterwords of volume 12.
I can relate to this show in a way. When I was a kid I was put on medicine that numbed everything including my emotions. This series felt like my internal war. I stopped taking my medicine after 16 years. I'm doing better now
Zack was from an illegal orphanage where he was abused and ended up killing the people there, he escapes and finds this man who he lives with but the man is mugged and Zack (Issac foster) gets revenge and goes on a killing spree, since this was before he grew up he is illiterate and not as smart but due to the hardships he is stronger he then went to the facility because to directly quote ‘they told me I could kill’. Next there is ray who it is discovered to have killed her parents as her dad was an alcoholic yet a cop so he could get away with it, she shot them both with her fathers gun but sewed them both together hence her skill in sewing as seen in the first episode. This is why she is in counselling with Danny and probably how she is brought into the facility. She along the way found religions and thought she could attone for her sins as Jesus did through death yet in Christianity it is taught life is important so she won’t take her own life. Long story short Rachel and Zack killed there parents, one wants to die for it the other kills others cos of it Edit - it isn’t important whatsoever but satauriku no tenshi is actually my favourite anime (apart from maybe jjba) and one of the few I’ve read the manga for as well, it was also the first I watched which is probably why I like it so much as whilst it has good plot the manga explains much more and so does the game (probably cos it was the original), happy that someone else found what is by anime standards a smaller anime
@@ricardomilosenjoyer151 actually Ray killed only her father after he killed her mother, they were in an abusive family relationship and ray wanted a happy "perfect" family ,that's why she traumatic and delusional sew their dead bodies together to convince herself.
Zack has ocd, he has a mental illness and he grew up in an abusive household, he developed with the idea that happy people are monsters and he needs to kill them, and he realized killing is the solution after being influenced by a show he saw on TV, and if anyone is nice to him he gets irritated as he is not used to those feelings, whilst Ray wanting to die I'd say u rewatch the anime cuz there are multiple interpretations but the general idea is clear once u get the foreshadowing cuz it seems u haven't fully watched it or maybe didn't get too attached to understand

I always thought in the ending Rachel just killed herself, even though it was contrary to what she wished through the entire show. It's a bit weird
