@@imgone7 You still have a couple of weeks for the Canada one to decide so if you really think you have a good chance of passing, and really want to become a kpop idol, and its afforable for you then go for it. If you do decide to do it, then good luck.

i hope you see this i am 16 will turn 17 by December and its my last year of highschool too idk if I should be a kpop idol I am confused its my dream to be singer since I was in 2nd grade but now after knowing the harsh and dark side of the world and how there are slim chances of debuting I am not sure if I should risk it all I am afraid if I got selected but then don't debute and will be stuck in the long trainne years or even worse get kicked out on monthly evaluation at this point I have no other career options too cuz I loved singing i am not an experienced dancer or singer but its my dream but i am afraid i wont make it and it will be too late as i am a foreigner and i have to go back to my country and study my college while my friends would already have gotten jobs idk what to do please help its eating me out i am so stressed rn I will be honest I am depresssed

@@vasudhasingh5109 well i tend to get overwhelmed easily i had an hour call with my friend if I be honest I had some self harm thoughts and my friends said I couldn't survive as I take stress easily and often feel way too overwhelmed well I also don't want to wait for years just to know it all got waisted like haruka of le seraafim who was so talented but got removed last minute I will rather pursue something else as I don't want to disappoint my parents

Kinda depends. Neither is necessarily better or worse. It’s kinda like global vs online auditions, there are pros and cons to each.

Hi, I’m avery. I saw your thing on insta and there was one question that I literally completely forgot I have, I’m just going to ask it here. If you are a lot more confident in singing, but (similar to the picaverse audition) you can apply for multiple categories, should I also include a dance video or wait until they ask for it?
It never hurts to show everything you can do. Unless you’re realllyyyy bad, you should try both.
Do you think musical theater songs would be okay for an audition? I really wanna sing "say my name" from beetle juice, Lidia's part, i really love it and have perfected my pronunciation and tone in the song, i just want to know if they wouldn't accept me for the style of the song?
Of course! Musical theater songs tend to portray a lot more emotion, so if you can pull it off, it’s better than doing regular songs! I’m a musical theater kid so I may be a bit biased, but I think it’s a great idea!

Heyyy I'm late but still thanks for the advice :) it helped me to achieve my dream a bit more! Also since i can't aford a hall to practice I am thinking about doing my online audition on a hill (there are almost no people so its quiet) and the background on the hill is just like an ruin but its kinda with grafitti is that okay?

Hello irene💗 firstly congratulations 🎉 i have been your fan since two years, I have a question to ask how does jyp train his foreign trainees? do they treat them well ?
Plus how can I gain confidence to be an k-pop idol
Jyp is one of my favorite companies when it comes to training because they have the salad bar that you may have heard of. And the teachers are apparently required to speak in English and Korean but idk if that’s true. You aren’t allowed to do monthly evaluations in Korean (like no Korean songs) which imo puts less pressure on foreign trainees, and let’s them learn Korean at their own pace.
Also, to gain confidence, you can do so much. My martial arts instructor would probably recommend meditation to help clear any and all thoughts (especially negative ones). I find confidence for everything through my growth. It’s hard to start with confidence, that’s why it’s important to grow. Know why you’re doing it. Know how you’re going to do it, but be flexible bc things happen. Know people will support you. Make sure to support yourself, make goals.

Most auditions won’t allow you do audition for 2 separate skills. So.. probably not? I would check the rules of the audition.

Hi Irene Actually I have a question...I want to audition for Ador so can I choose a song for dancing that does not belong to Ador but another label of HYBE
If you’re good, it honestly doesn’t matter what song. Most people recommend doing unpopular dances, and from different companies, but don’t stress too much about it. If you fit the vibe of the dance, and you can do the dance, it’s the one you should use.

Can you make a video on how to record for an online audition???
I believe she has given tips about online auditions before, but it may be scattered through various videos. Most importantly is good lighting, a non-distracting background, and good acoustics for vocals/rap. Of course, almost everything from in person auditions still applies.
And make sure the videos are in the required format. For some, it’s less strict, and you can just upload the video as is, but other times it will only accept a few format types for videos and photos.

Hello Annie, I was doing a research about jype *ONLINE* audtion and in the OFFICIAL website you can see that they give you 5 categories and you can pick as much as you want
The categories are:
Singing
Dancing
Rapping
Acting
Modeling
( in order of what jype value the most )
just keep in mind that you got only 2 videos you can submit
That means do 2 categories and I would reccomend doing the 2 you like the most and shows your potential the best.

If you mean a different name, no, not even a nickname. You can probably ask to be called by a different name though.

It depends on the audition, some will say to sing over a background track, some will say not to. Just make sure to check the rules of each audition, for different companies prefer different things.
But it’ll either be an instrumental (like karaoke), or no track at all.
Is there any k-pop audition is going on of hybe lables?
I currently don’t know about any in person except the global Jyp audition. However it’s currently going on, and some locations are already over. And of course, there are many online auditions.

ask yourself you really want it i am 16 will be 17 by December it was my dream to be one but when I got to know the dark side and how I am risking my entire career for it like you wont even know if you will debut I don't want to break your dream but just have a second option and plan it all out because even if you get in somehow and make it to company you will be eliminated in monthly evaluation and they will send you home or you will be there only or to other company but for how long you are willing to be there ? in such extreme environment I am saying this because I am in last year of my school and my dream to be an idol was so impactful that I now don't know what to pursue in my career because I know I cant make it its not because I am old but because I am not experienced and when the experienced once get kicked out will you stand a chance and despite all my and if you still think you want to be great but keep in mind one thing that you will not be yours anymore its scary but truth all industry are dark but lets be real kpop is the darkest

what if you apply to multiple companies and you get accepted to more then 1 (for example you chose sm ent) then what do do with the other 2/3 or wtv you get accepted to
If you’re talking about passing the first round of several companies, try and go to the next rounds of as many as you can. If you mean the last round, pick the one that you consider the best.

If it’s an email audition, links are probably fine. However I’ve noticed not all auditions have a url upload option. There are websites that will shrink files for you, but it will sacrifice the quality (don’t know if I’m wording any of that right, not a tech person).
