SC300 (soarers) & GS300’s (aristos) come factory dual exhaust, and they all sound good. Granted not GTE, but when people go NA-T or GTE swapped and go dual exhaust like Blitz Nur Specs, they sound phenomenal
I’m not even a fabricator or have any real knowledge about any of it but getting to watch Spoon and Johan(LZ’s guy for those that don’t know lol) is truly a privilege. They are so talented and masters of their craft. Big ups to both of them!!
When I think hard about a build the most Important and can be expensive to do a build like this is the fab work or welding. I'm going to start learning to weld and fab for my first build coming up
Those new flex fuel sensor mounts aren’t a restriction anymore, they have a bypass to keep flow at max and still sends fuel thru the sensor. So basically the sensor gets its fuel to read and the rest goes around the sensor completely since you don’t need to read 100% of the fuel to get content rating. Super trick piece 👌🏻
I was gonna ask exactly this because what else is that parallel tube supposed to be for? Seemed to me like that block was designed to bypass just enough around the sensor for it to essentially not be there in terms of flow
the whole idea behind the DW flex fuel mounting block is that it allows more flow through the upper tube which no longer restricts the fuel flow and can be used for the fuel feed👍
Jimmy you crush it with the content every vid and always so entertaining and I enjoy how you go step by step explaining everything most dont and how you have stayed so humble through all the years and haven't turned into most youtubers just about the subscribers or views also whatever you do with the FRS I know it's gonna be so sick with your eye for style and how you do your cars and the team you got its gonna be perfection 👌 I look forward to all the content you have in store for this year and as always keep up the great work 👍
@20:23, that block isnt just a block, it has that HUGE-8 tube taht your thumb is on, it allows for full flow of your fuel while still monitoring the ethonal content through the sensor. its best of both worlds. whole point of it being that beefy is to allow optimal flow while plummed into the feed side =]
Spoon, stuff a blue shop towel inside anything you cut off to add AN fittings. Cut through the towel and then vacuum the debris out of the towel to avoid any trash going through whatever system.
Jimmy's a smart man, gets a super expensive radium hanger with the car, gets a free deatschwerks one as they're a sponsor, then he's gonna sell the radium one lol
@@H1GHD3FF Lol, I wouldn't have done it, would've just ran the Radium because you already have it and it's simply better, stop the assumptions. But name one good reason why he would leave his radium on a shelf and go to the lesser, partially plastic DW hanger ? I guess giving it to spoon could be a good reason, but he mentionned he got a DW one for him too.
@@Berm_Blaster Eh it's whatever, plus honestly there's always many ways to see it, grimey and greedy, or loyal to his sponsor, you know. I was just joking to be fair, but there's always people just wanting to be negative.
Take the line from the top of the head and run it to the upper radiator hose along with the passenger side of the head that used to go to the throttle body. Block the two bolt on the back of the pump housing. The head flows out and you're feeding hot water into the pump.

As far as the conversation about dual exit on K series,I have dual exit exhaust on my k24 tsx ,it's full exhaust header back 2 1/2 inch piping and it sounds great 👌 ,definitely more unique but in a good way.
There is just something different about this channel that sets it apart from others. It comes across as a perfect blend between a "shade tree mechanic" and an automotive you tuber. Close to perfect entertainment. Looking forward to more Porsche content though.
Been running ecu master but seeing that ethanol sensor setup and all the other link systems they are offering. I’m slowly being swayed to purchase one on my next build! Also channel gives new mechanics and fabricators on ideas on building there future cars. Good stuff!! man.
Run the head heater core port off the back of your head to your swirl pot. Putting it back into the water pump your just dumping hot water back into the block. It’ll run cooler if you do so
Removing thermostat can cause cavitation in water pump at higher rpm as well. Can run a plate with a hole in place of the thermostat to help this. Badass project btw 💪🏼
Maybe it’s because I’m in my 30’s, but I love the burnt tip titanium exhaust. A little rice is good. I also like bare carbon and underglows. Fight me! lol
ive ran many cars with no tstat even in the winter. i just put my fan on a switch and when it got too cold i had a piece of cardboard to cover up half the radiator🤣.
Jimmy it’s the z32 radiator that’s throwing you off. The z32 has a pin on top of the radiator and the clamps that bolt to the core support. You’re a Z man through and through. 😝
The whole idea of the flex fuel sensor block you used is because of the flow issue you spoke of so it's a good thing you thought that 1 looked better haha. The big tube let's excess fuel passed the sensor
Running the coolant line from the back of the head into the waterpump inlet will circulate hot coolant. Rear of the head should be plumbed to the swirl pot or top of the radiator.
Nobody out there teaching and going in depth to make full builds like you Jim. Keep doing what you've always done..
